Maybe in five months, a decade later, or in another universe from now; when the both of you are wiser, suffered different heartbreaks, and dream different dreams. We will come together again. We 'll end up meeting at a local downtown coffee shop; maybe you 'll notice that my hair is shorter, my laugh is a bit lower pitched, and my clothes have lost colour. Your eyes may be dimmer, your face may be wrinkled, but your hands, the touch I 've been trying to mask with other people all this time, will feel the same, and it will hit me in the same way my dark black coffee hits me.
