Ever since humans came to be, they have done many things to ensure their survival. It’s the reason why we humans have evolved as much as we have. Humans have invented devices, accomplished many challenges, and have even relied on nothing but willpower to survive. When somebody survives a tragic event they are left with some terrifying memories that haunt them forever, but a few survivors are courageous enough to share their experience. Obviously, one of the shared experiences is the book called Night by Elie Wiesel.

Throughout history, many people have abused and misused the power they have been trusted to have. The book Night is written by a survivor of the Holocaust, named Elie Wiesel, who is writing to encourage people not to make the same mistakes that happened during the Holocaust. Unfortunately, people haven’t learned the lesson of letting people with power control things. This is seen in the past during the holocaust through Ellie's point of view and in modern-day civilization. Just like in Night where Idek used his power to abuse Elie and remove all the Jews so he could have fun, Hitler putting Jews in concentration camps, the Ukrainrusso war, and the US government wiretapping, the world has still not learned the lesson of not letting people with

While Elie and his father were at the train, after the acts of the Jews they realized that the fear makes people evil. We can see that the fear made Jews evil in the train because they were trying to kill each other in the train to survive, and they were also throwing the death bodies out of the train. “Throw out all the dead! All corpses outside!” (Wiesel 94).

Hope is a helpful tool to push people through the hardest times in life. In the book Night by Elie Wiesel, there are numerous examples of hope helping people and revitalizing their confidence. People used hope to help them through rough times. People hope that friends and family are still alive. Also hope that the Front liberates the camps and frees everyone.

Inhumane In the memoir Night by Elie Wiesel, the theme man's inhumanity man relates to cruelty by calling them names, treating them horribly, and making them look the same. Even the Jews in the same barracks fight each other for food, and some people suffocate because they are laying on top of each other. In this quote “Faster you swine”(Wiesel 91). This quote shows the reader how the Nazis treated the Jews when they are marching to Gleiwitz.

The Jews in question are being held captive and are tortured for suspicion of sabotage; the young pipel remains silent in solitary confinement. He is being condemned to death, along with two other inmates, for possessing arms. When face to face with death, they remain silent. Silence is a key factor of Night, an autobiography written by Elie Wiesel. A story about how close to death the Jews are.

For every individual, it is difficult to give up two than one. In the novel Night, by Elie Wiesel, Elie magnanimously inputs his blood and sweat by sacrificing his strength and rations for the survival of his father. He holds unconditional hopes of believing that he will be able to make not only himself survive through the brutal camps under German control, but also his father through his efforts. Through this, Elie uses the relationship with his father to suggest that individuals should be independent for better survival because it is more efficient to create a single, strong individual rather than two weak ones. Elie may have continuously helped his father in lengthening his endurance, but failed to straighten his father’s will.

Courage is a word that used often or not, has it’s own meaning. Having courage to do the impossible is experienced in our everyday lives without even thinking, such as, taking out the trash, going to school, taking a step onto a unknown street, it happens to us all and can even have a dramatic impact on yourself, your future, and your life. In the book Night courage is experienced every single day of torture. Prisoners, such as Elie, face and fight for their own survival not knowing that their best weapon possessed in their hands was courage. Courage was a weapon, a very powerful weapon that could change your fate in an instant.

In the span of a lifetime one often faces many adversities that stand within their path.  While some challenges will be overcome easily, others will take a lot more tenacity. When in the face of adversity it is key not to give up. One should always strive to persevere through their hardships, no matter how severe they seem to be. The main character is the author because this is an autobiographical novel. Eliezer was a Jew during Hitler’s reign in which Jews were persecuted. The book starts out with the author describing his faith.

It is a common assumption among numerous people in the world that the Holocaust never existed. In fact, almost fifty percent of the world population never even heard of the Holocaust. Elie Wiesel helped people around the world learn about the Holocaust through his book “Night.” He wanted people to see the bravery, courage, and guilt of the Jews through his book. “Night” shows the horrific and malicious acts in the German concentration camps during the Holocaust.
