When situations like these happen in your life you tend to break down and question why. I will never forget the time when who I thought was my best friend began betraying me. The worst part is that I wasn’t even hearing it from her but that I was hearing it from another individual. Aren’t your best friends supposed to always have your back and help you through your decisions that will impact your life for the rest of you life. It’s powerless if we neglect the inclination to compare and criticize our own lives through the falsified images we too are guilty of creating” (Herrick). Through social media many individuals will feel betrayed from the truth of how individuals look in person as they do when they post on social media. Also through social media many people depict that they live a perfect

According to the Oxford dictionary, Betrayal is the action of betraying one 's country, a group, or a person; treachery, an eight-letter word to describe something so cruel that some people believe a five-letter word could make it forget. Betrayal itself is a hard thing to experience, but it 's even worse when it 's coming from someone you trusted and loved the most. There is a famous saying that, “Sometimes, the person you’d take a bullet for ends up being the one behind the gun.” Betrayal not only results in hatred from the other person, but also losing trust and making you considered as a treacherous person. In the plays Antigone by Sophocles and The Tragedy of Julius Caesar by Shakespeare there are several betrayals that take place throughout the play. These betrayals are big turning points in these plays. What kind of betrayal that is going to take place depends completely on the person’s intention. For example, in Antigone, in Antigone goes to bury Polyneices she is betraying King Creon and his law he put into place, but this was a good thing because she was doing what was right and the gods wanted. Another example is in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar when Brutus joins the conspirators in killing Caesar, he betrayed Caesar for the good of the Republic of Rome.
Overall, Shakespeare has explored the inner workings of the human condition, from showing how these characters play a big role in the matter of manipulation by showing their fake support to one another. From the investigation of the paradox, supporter vs. manipulator, it portrays the theme of betrayal, which can be seen in this play and our modern day society. The saddest thing yet about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies, I will let you decide who it comes
Deception is an action driven with the motive to employ one purpose which can be to mislead another individual in order to gain knowledge, to get revenge, or to reveal a plan unknown to the public eye and keeping it that way for the dutiful well-being of the Kingdom of Denmark. In the tragedy Hamlet by William Shakespeare, deception develops into the character trait that initiates the actions, heartbreak, and revenge driving this play. This attribute held by Hamlet is the leading cause of this same flaw development in Ophelia, King Claudius, and many others in an attempt to reinforce the theme. This theme is one of heroism, but the deceptive notion each action reveals challenges the perception the reader has on each of the main characters. In order to be able to fully analyze the part Hamlet’s deception plays in driving the plot and storyline of this tragedy, one must understand that a foil character juxtaposes each character to illuminate their shortcomings.
Can acts of betrayal affect people differently? Macbeth and The Kite Runner are great examples of the effect betrayal can have on different people. William Shakespeare's Macbeth tells the story of the noble Macbeth and how he betrays those closest to him to gain power and control over the country. However, the acts of betrayal he has committed come back to haunt him and drive him insane. In Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner, it tells the story of Amir and how he betrays his best friend just because he doesn't want to deal with the reality of the situation.
Studies show the psychological effects of betrayal are broad, even affecting the stability of societies. The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies. It is the worst kind of pain because it means someone close to you was willing to hurt their own friend. As many people say it is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend. That is probably the main reason

In Khaled Hosseini’s “The
Betrayal is like the end of the world, a person can never see it happening. It can come from anyone but sometimes it comes from the unexpected such as a friend or a loved one. The individual who is backstabbed usually has characteristics of being too gullible and also lacks judgment on others which often results him to being betrayed. In William Shakespeare’s play The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, there are many debates about who the tragic hero is. Many often identified Julius Caesar as the tragic hero while others argued and discerned Brutus as the tragic hero of the play.
Betrayal is a very common feeling that can occur at any time in life. The way that Shakespeare displays jealousy very much relates to our average day lives. Even common mix ups and misunderstandings stir the pot for what later becomes betrayal. Sometimes It would just be a lot easier if people talked things out before jumping to conclusions about certain topic then causing mishaps but for poor othello the miscommunication led to the death of his wife, the death of his ownself and the broken friendships between his close friends. So in a way I do have to owe my thanks to Shakespeare for writing this play.
Hamlet shows that vengeance can make your life miserable. Seeking for vengeance leads to madness because a person really wants to hurt another person for making him feel hurt badly. Eric cannot handle the situation and control himself for seeking revenge for his father’s death.
