In this section, first of all we focused on various research challenges of social media. Then we focused on introduction of Cyberbullying which is also a main research challenge of social media. After that we gave the related work for the detection of cyberbullying. A. Main Research challenges of Social media 1. Avoiding fragmentation of the social graph through open cross-platform interactions: Sometimes new application or new game tends to build a small social network and that application is limited to that social network only. So the research challenge is to make application that allow cross platform information exchange securely and avoid the fragmentation. 2. Communities discovery and analysis in large scale online and offline social networks: As social network is dynamic in nature. Communities are dynamically changing with time, so it become very difficult to detect communities in social network. 3. Security and Privacy in Social Networks Analysis: Security and Privacy is also one of the main challenges of social media.
