Part 3: Critical Reflection on Professional Growth Reflective Paper
Throughout the first five Modules I have completed many learning styles analyses. I have now realized that one of the major steps to become a peak performer is self-assessment. The Social Change Self-Assessment and The Professional Practitioner Self-Assessment have helped me to evaluate myself critically (See Appendix F & G). According to professional practitioner self-assessment and social change self-assessment (Appendix F & G), it has been obvious that I have adequate skills to be an effective professional practitioner as I am excellent many areas. While completing these assessments, I thought of my characteristics and skills and used some evidence from my everyday interactions.

My objective of following this course is to improve and develop my teaching knowledge. At the beginning of the Module one there was a distinct challenge. Time management has been at the root of that challenge (Appendix H). When I read time management skills in Unit’s reading, I realized that my time management skills are quite lacking as I want to do more than one tasks as a time. The long-term aim of this concept is the most important ending of lifelong development.
I work in a society that does not have full freedom of speech and so hope that both learning theory and interacting with class mates in the rest of the world will help me develop suitable teaching mechanisms. Where I work we are very aware of the responsibility we, as a privileged, private school community, have. However, I think that, whilst we help where we can, we need to keep our focus at this stage on bettering in whatever way we can, the educational experience within our boundaries and leading by example.
According to Neil Haave (2015) learning should focus on being curious and never running out of questions. Such questioning together with accepting that disappointment is part of the equation drives much of my teaching. Learning must be done from the early age with fun, motivation and curiosity and this must be continued throughout life as we develop in life. I believe that this is important because, now days no one likes to ask questions because they feel that people will judge them. But it’s important to ask questions especially if you don’t understand what the teacher is teaching or what you are reading. I also agree that we need to be curious and learning. I agree with this because I feel that if you are curious about learning then you will learn better and that you will retain what you are learning. This is why I believe that this is important
Enabling Professionalism reflection This is a reflection on continuing professional and personal development in practice. This reflection is to allow me to improve profeesionally with supportive, evidence based literature and to enable me to evaluate the impact my professional behaviour as a student and future midwife. My learning need is to focus on the importance of professional behaviour when on placement and working with women, their families and members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
Time management has been one of the most substantial hurdles of my scholastic and professional career. Many of us waste our time on things that are neither important nor necessary, instead of using that time for something of that is meaningful. To capitalize on the use of time management strategies and reach my Doctoral Business Administration (DBA) program goals. I will execute two specific time management strategies, for example, accessing and planning a weekly schedule while adjusting my daily schedule. Time management will help me maximize the use of my time and reach my ultimate DBA goals of completing each assignment.
Allocating time for your personal agenda is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It is proven that creating time for yourself will increase your happiness. This will help you function better throughout the day, and will enable a student to do things he/she pleases to do, example read a book. Better time management will allow a student to join clubs or activities of their choosing, and not just join the ones which improve marks. Studies have shown that students with more time on their hands will join a club of their choosing rather than the ones that so the most benefit with the least amount of effort.
If a child cannot learn the way I teach then I will teach the way the child learns. My aim is not to be a sage on the stage but a guide by the side. Involving inclusive pedagogy in my personal education will allow me to achieve my goals. I impart knowledge, I guide learning, I channel ideas, I create opportunities, I impact lives, I TEACH!

I learned in this activity how crucial time management skills will be to my ability to complete this course successfully. The analysis from the questionnaire (Table 2) as well as keeping a record of what activities I focus on for a couple of days, opened my eyes to a few areas of improvement. From the patterns observed I could see that most of my time was taken up by work and commitments as well as procrastination. Not being able to juggle theses successful led to irritation and was unproductive. Research suggests that managing ones emotions, being self-aware and self-motivate can be factors for success for a student (Allan, 2009).
Not only children learn from teachers, teachers also need to learn from children. A successful teacher is willing to learn. Teachers know that they are encouraged to learn for lifetime and not just for a short time as teacher is a life-long learner. Portfolio Part B: Reflection on the overall learning within the module Prior to starting this course the MA Social Work course and the PPSWP module I felt very confident in the aspects of communicating effectively and working with a diverse range of people, and after the reading the professional capabilities framework I believe that I hold the same personal values which is expected of a social worker. The PCF6 talks about the importance of critical reflection and reflective practice explaining that it helps improve accountability, professional development and helps to you understand your own tacit knowledge and gain new knowledge, which improves outcomes and experiences for social workers. Outliers, written by Malcolm Gladwell, is an informational book regarding the intricacies of success and how it comes to fruition in individuals. Outliers has served to teach students the means of being successful and the importance of seizing opportunities as they come. Personally, Outliers has changed my views of success in numerous ways. Before reading said book, I had always assumed people who were naturally talented or had specific privileges were the only ones who could get far. However, Gladwell’s writing has informed me that anyone, if they are prepared to work hard, can reach their goals.
Understanding what they are learning is how students become better
I can consider my professional development experience in two parts: Before I became a teacher and after I became a teacher. During my teacher education at university I used to imagine myself as the teacher of that lesson and I used to try to draw some tips for my future job. I observed my teachers’ way of teaching, their rapport with students and their reactions. I always commented on why or why not they behave in that specific way and search for examples to be applied in my future job as a teacher. I believe that these observations provided me with some valuable and conclusive clues for my job.
All of these can step-by-step help me develop my personal and professional skills, also provide a foundation for continued professional development. To conclude my reflection, I have discussed my future employability, how to use the skills and experiences to own professional development,
Time management: Time management is a very crucial component if you are willing to have a productive lifestyle. To be honest, I have always had issues with managing my time efficiently. This problem had become a huge obstacle once I got into college. Thus, attending a lecture that focuses on time management helped me a lot with this problem by introducing me to different aspects related to time management: planning, SMART goals, and important/urgent matrix. Learning to make a specific plan for my daily tasks and make a to-do list to make my day as productive as possible is something very helpful which was advised to me by the instructor of this lecture Mr. Irfan.
There is this famous saying, ''Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow". I could not agree more. Growing up as a kid, I vividly recall myself always being enthusiastic to learn and explore. Now I stand on the state where I can proudly say that this passion has driven my growth, motivated me to grow even further and augmented my hunger for quality education.
