Ender’s Game is a book about Ender (Real name Andrew) Wiggin. Ender is a third (not allowed at the time unless the government allows it.) he went to battle school when he was 6 years old he bounced for army to army until he got his own army the dragon army. When he was too good for battle school he was moved to command school where he and his friends are tricked into killing the buggers.

Chapter14 “Enders Teacher” Chapter Summary In this chapter Ender arrives at the Command School. Where he meets his new teacher Mazor Rackham. Mazor tells Ender how we went away for a while so he can be alive to teach the commander for the Third Invasion. Ender begins training with the simulations and then begins training to command a whole fleet.

The story Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is about how Ender Gets invited to go to a school named Battle School but the story is really about is courage. The Book, Ender’s Game, started with Ender as a third child in his hometown. At the beginning of Battle School Ender had no friends and everyone thought he wasn’t going to stay very long and he was going to be the first one gone. In the middle of the school he was invited to Command School by Graff.

"…she squeezed his knee…where he had always been most ticklish. But almost at the same moment, he caught her wrist in his hand. His grip was very strong, even though his hands were smaller than hers and his own arms were slender and tight. For a moment he looked dangerous; then he relaxed." () Unknowingly Ender has surrendered to the virtuous boy he once was in exchange for the arduous adolescent he is now, confirming what the Battle School destined him to become.

It had more narration so the reader could understand what is happening. Secondly, the movie. The movie was different than the book. It had some parts that were in the book, but it lacked some details.

For example, in the book, when Inigo and Fezzik visit they have to go through many hardships in the Zoo of Death. Arabian Garstini, a very dangerous snake, is one of the animals in the Zoo of Death. Suddenly it starts coiling around them “and the fourth coil, the final coil, [coils around their] throat” which is terrifying. This builds a lot of tension and causes the readers to really get involved in the story. But, in the movie, there is no Zoo of Death and Fezzik and Inigo easily go inside the Pit of Despair.

Now you know why the book and movie of Ender’s Game are so different and why the book is better. The movie adds unnecessary parts to it like ender when Ender had gotten tranquilized. It takes out many important parts in the movie like when Ender goes to salamander army. It even uses some important parts, but switches important things like dialogue, action, and even points of time.

The movie was much more efficient for me because I am a slow reader and I do not do well with comprehending reading. The movie gave me a quick way of watching and understanding what was going on. It was much faster for me than reading the book. Although the book gave a good accurate presentation, the movie gave me a visual and factual presentation.

Ender’s trials are portrayed more convincingly in the book, as the book shows him struggling with the expectations placed upon him more so than in the movie. An important theme in Ender’s Game is that Ender is continually kept in the dark about the events happening around him. This theme is prevalent throughout the book, and sets the stage for the book’s climax, the Third Invasion.

Throughout Ender 's Game, written by Orson Scott Card, the reader follows the main protagonist, Ender, from his journey as a young boy on Earth to the hopes of being the next great commander in the fight against the buggers.

I enjoyed the movie better than the book. It included just the right amount of action scenes, description words, and details from the story. The story was amazing but I like seeing things more than reading them. I usually like the movies better than the book.
