The September 11 attack on the Twin Towers ; 9/11 was one of the most devastating incidents that ever happened in modern history. This attack killed 2,996 people and injured almost 6000 others. The US Government announced that this attack was organised by an Islamic terrorist group called Al-Qaeda headed by Osama Bin Laden. But is that completely true? Some people believe that the Twin Towers collapsed over various reasons like George Bush, the former owner of an oil company called Arbusto Energy was connected to Bin Laden as he was an investor in the oil company and that George Bush knew this attack will take place all along. Why would George Bush do that to his people? Scientists have said that there is no way that a plane could cause so much …show more content…
“If you do business with terrorists, if you support or succour them, you will not do business with the United States” said George Bush, but Bush froze assets connected to Bin Laden and didn 't tell the people that the terrorist mastermind’s late brother was an investor in the oil company he owned (Arbusto Energy). After the 9/11 took place there was no immediate reaction on Bush’s face which clearly shows us that Bush and the government knew that this incident was going to happen. On the day of the 9/11 attack, approximately 4000 employees did not go to work which mostly included senior staff. This attack has also happened with the help of the government and we know this because mostly the senior employees did not go to work that day which beyond any doubt tells us that the government knew this attack was going to take place. Before this hideous incident, there was a Pentagon drill where almost 2000 people prepared for a passenger plane crash. Doesn 't this all mean the government was involved in planning this attack ?
Why did the government get involved? This question has still not been answered.

These deaths included 265 that were on four aircraft, 2,606 deaths just within the World Trade Center and surrounding areas, and the Pentagon had 125 deaths. These deaths weren’t necessary if the government was behind this evil intention just to bring Americans together for support of a war against another nation.
History of the Debate After what happened on September 11 in 2001, conspiracists started to spread the word about what is seen today as the mythology of the 9/11 conspiracy. 2,977 innocent people were killed in an elaborate plot by the CIA and FBI in order to suppress civil liberties and benefit their allies in the oil and gas industry. The scheme by the Bush administration was successful in gaining the popular agreement of the American people to be in accordance with the otherwise unsupportable wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. There is no exact or perfect timeline about the progression of belief in the theory of a planned event. But in the early years of the decade, at least, it was relegated to the far reaches of the American political spectrum,
On that day, more than three thousand people died including innocent civilians, firefighters, and passengers on those airplanes. The cruel act from the terrorists cannot be ignored and pushed aside. Nineteen terrorists, split into four groups each containing a trained pilot, embarked on a suicide mission to hijack one commercial jet and fly and crash them into US landmarks.
Terrorist campaigns were climbing in decades prior to 9/11. A group of terrorists attacked New York’s World Trade Center on February 26, 1993. The aim of this attack was to drive two bomb loaded trucks into the basement of a building to bring down both of the towers of the World Trade Center. The mission was not accomplished, but the attack did kill six people. The organizer of this attack was Ramzi Yousef, whose uncle went on to be the operational commander of the attack at the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Initally, al-Qaeda considered targeting nuclear power plants on 9/11, but decided to go against it because they feared it would get too out of control. Four passenger airlines, all of which departed from airports in the northeastern United States bound for California, were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda members. One plane hit the Pentagon just outside of Washington D.C., the second plane crashed in a field in Pennslyvania, and the last two planes crashed into the Twin Towers. Within one hour and 42 minutes both 110 story towers were completely on the ground, with debris filling the air and fires starting to spread.
