On 06/09/2018 at approximately 0435 Officer Sultemeier #969 was doing an hourly jail check in the woman’s wing. I Officer Zagada #967 stayed in booking to try to finish up updating our Classification log. Then, I overheard Officer Sultemeier speak to dispatch about two females coming out of Day Room 6. I Officer Zagada called officer Sultemeier over the radio and asked him “why are you bringing out two girls.” Officer Sultemeier told me that both Inmates VANN, RACHAEL MICHELE #6737 and CORPUS, CAITLYN DIANE #6904 wished to speak with him. So, officer Sultemeier and I ended our search and made our way to the Recreation yard to find inmates CORPUS, CAITLYN DIANE #6904 MELUGIN, AMBER LYNN #7077 arguing. We then separated the two inmates and pulled out MELUGIN, AMBER LYNN and talked to her about why were they were fighting. MELUGIN, AMBER LYNN stated that “CORPUS, CAITLYN DIANE #6904 is picking on VANN, RACHAEL MICHELE #6737 and how if they were on the streets somebody would’ve checked that bitch”. On 04-09-2016 at 0315 hours I noticed a pickup stopped on Main Street about Mulberry Street with the passenger door open. The vehicle then turned onto Mulberry Street and pulled to the side of the road. I made contact with the occupants of the vehicle and was advised by dispatch Jenae Sisson had an active warrant for her arrest. Sisson was placed under arrest and placed into hand restraints which were properly fitting and double locked.
Ps, Elizabeth Gibson and Gerding Speare, allege excessive force and false arrest. Apartment # 510: P Gibson alleges that was on the toilet when MOS break into the bathroom with their guns drawn and pulled her off the toilet. P Gibson states that she was not allowed to get dressed and was dragged into the living room. P Gibson claims she was handcuffed tightly. On Saturday 11/14/2015 at 2322 hours, Security Supervisor Steven Evans along with Officer Omar Alonso responded to a call for assistance at the Results Waiting area of the Emergency Department. Upon arrival at 2323 hours we were told by a Patient Tech that Nurse Lisette Van Windt had already taken the patient to room # 59. It was explained to Security that the patient, Brenda Pemberton (FIN #84838930) was arguing in a loud manner with her husband and upsetting the other patients in the results waiting area. On 04/19/2018 at approximately 20:04 hours I, Deputy Keith Lloyd, along with Deputy Fred Corley were dispatched to 1299 E 119th Street, Mulvane, Sumner County Kansas for an unknown disturbance. The call was transferred from Mulvane PD who advised they could only hear that a male and his son were arguing. At approximately 20:34 hours Deputies arrived at 1299 E 119th Street. Upon arrival I made contact with a white male who was I recognized as Jarid Miles Branine from previous encounters. I asked Jarid what was going on and he stated he and his father got into an argument and his mother called the cops fearing the two were going to get into a fight.
On Saturday 09/06/16 at about 0530 hours Elizabeth Cervantes-Hocking came into the lobby of the Auburn Police department to provide a statement. I contacted Elizabeth in the lobby, and she stated she wanted to provide a statement for this case because she believed the Police did not get the full story the night of the incident. I obtained a video statement from Elizabeth using my department cell phone and the following is a summary of that statement. Elizabeth said on 07/09/16, the night of the incident, her roommates decided to call the Police because she was screaming. I asked Elizabeth what she was screaming for, and she said she had a long day, and she was in an agitated mood.
On September 6, 2015 at approximately 8:21pm I, Deputy Tucker George, checked en route to the Shell Gas Station in Hawkins, Texas 75765, Located at 102 East front street in reference to an assault call. Upon arrival I located the complainant Michele Turner inside the Shell station sitting at a small table on the North wall of the building just inside the door. Michele Turner appeared to be intoxicated upon my arrival and displayed multiple signs of intoxication throughout the process of conducting my investigation. Michele Turner was unable to provide detailed information in regards to her assault, but did state the house at which she had been and was assaulted was a known dope house. On Sunday 03/19/2017 at approximately 0140 hours, I was contacted by Sgt B Clark about a possible DUI he had stopped. Sgt Clark advised me he had placed the subject under arrest under the suspicious of driver under the influence, and Officer Spengler had transported the subject to the station. I responded to the station and made contact with the subject, known as Omando Davis, in the holding cell at approximately 0220 hours. I escorted Davis into the intoxilyzer room to process him on the intoxilyzer 8000. While escorting Davis, I observed he had glassy blood shot eyes, slurred speech had the smell of intoxicants emitting from his breath, and was unsteady on his feet.
I requested Trooper Bullar to stand by with Pierson while I went and spoke to Smith inside the residence. I knocked on the front door and entered the residence.
