The Battle of Trenton was a substantial turning point early in the Revolutionary war. Though this was a relatively small battle, the significance cannot be overlooked as it was an extremely important victory for the fight for independence. The battle took place in the winter of 1776 after a series of defeats for the Continental Army. It was in fact the first major victory for the Continental Army. This battle changed the momentum of the war by increasing morale and giving the Continental Army new purpose.

2. The Battle of Yorktown , which took place in Yorktown, Virginia, was a victory which was led by General George Washington with the force of American Continental Army troops. The British Army was commanded by British Lieutenant General Charles Cornwallis. The battle ended on October 19, 1781. 3.

Therefore, the british could’ve attacked from just about any location they wanted to. Later in the war, the Hessians were quickly shot, most wounded or killed. In total of all of the Hessians, 22 were killed, 92 were wounded, 918 captured, and 400 of the Hessians found a way to escape the war. On all top the that, 2 American were somehow frozen to death and 5 were wounded. After this big battle in Trenton, The American Colonists took away prisoners, and supplies but withdrew from the Next war which was the Battle of Princeton.

The battle of Trenton took place in December 26, 1776. The battle was in New Jersey to the southern side of the Delaware River on Christmas night. The Americans wanted it to be a surprise when they crossed the Delaware river to where the Germans were. George Washington was the head of the Americans on the boat sailing to the opposite side of the Delaware River. The battle of Trenton was in the middle of the war.

Despite losing the fort, troops and material captured by the British, Washington’s retreat into Pennsylvania set the stage for the future battles of Trenton and Princeton, both of which significantly accelerated the loss of morale caused by the defeat at Fort

The Battle of Trenton happened on the 25th of December in Delaware of 1776. It was short and sweet battle between George Washington and his opponent, Garrison of Hessian.

This is when the revolutionary war began. Washington with his military experience became the general of the continental army. Although Washington lost most wars he motivated his men. His most remembered battle is the battle of Trenton in which he ambushed the Hessians and took over a British camp.

Battle of Camden The Battle of Camden was fought on the morning of August 16, 1780. It was a battle between the British and the Americans. Major General Horatio Gates was the American Commander and Major General Charles Cornwallis was the British Commander. The Americans had 3,052 troops versus the British who had 2,240 troops.

The Battle of Trenton. As soon as George Washington’s famous Delaware River crossing, he and the Continental Army marched into Trenton, New Jersey. This March included horses, guns, wagons, and soldiers. The group stretched for nearly a mile long.

In the Battle of Trenton, General George Washington lead a surprise attack on Christmas morning to capture and defeat Loyalist grounds. The success of attributes, such as stealthiness, regarding the attack can be credited by the terrain provided in New Jersey for the Americans to defeat their opponents. Washington formed his “detachments into two divisions one to March by the lower or River Road, the other by the upper or Pennington Road...   Then, will attack in the early afternoon.  I also predict that they win the war although a few might have died but the troops gave great effort.  I do not think that they went back immediately, after conquering them the soldiers and Washington probably claimed Trenton and held the Hessians who have not died, captive.  My last prediction is that they stayed for about a month they sailed back using the captives as

They succeeded in using the element of surprise and the weather helped the colonial army and they took Trenton.

The Battle of Saratoga in September and October of 1777 is the turning point of the Revolutionary War because the French joined with allies, British troops surrendered their arms, and the Patriots had crucial victories. It was a victory for the Patriots in the American Revolution and is the most decisive battles in history. The Battle began as a plan by the British to control New York and isolate New England from the Southern colonies and put an end to the Revolution. Which ended as an opportunity for the Patriots.
