The Legend of Zelda games feature a mixture of puzzles, action, adventure/battle gameplay, and exploration. These elements have remained constant throughout the series, but with refinements and additions featured in each new game. Later games in the series also include stealth gameplay, where the player must avoid enemies while proceeding through a level, as well as racing elements. Although the games can be beaten with a minimal amount of exploration and side quests, the player is frequently rewarded with helpful items or increased abilities for solving puzzles or exploring hidden areas. Some items are consistent and appear many times throughout the series (such as bombs and bomb flowers, which can be used both as weapons and to open blocked or hidden doorways; boomerangs, which can kill or paralyze enemies; keys for locked doors; magic swords, shields, and bows and arrows), while …show more content…
Each dungeon usually has one major item inside, which is usually essential for solving many of the puzzles within that dungeon and often plays a crucial role in defeating that dungeon's boss, as well as progressing through the game. In nearly every Zelda game, navigating a dungeon is aided by locating a map, which reveals its layout, and a magic compass, which reveals the location of significant and smaller items such as keys and equipment. In later games, the series includes a special "big key" that would unlock the door to battle the dungeon's boss enemy and open the item
Zombicon, a Fort Myers charity event on its 9th year ended with 1 man dead, identified as Tyrell Taylor, and 5 others injured after shots were fired into a crowd of people. October 17th had started like any other Saturday, until 4pm when the Zombies started to roll into the street. It's suspected that the shooter may have found a way to sneak the gun into the festival, despite a police pat down at every entrance. The Fort Myers police have been searching for the shooter since Sunday morning and have come up dry. According to the Fond Du Lac Police Department, the man had been hunting with his family when he shot a doe using his crossbow. The trouble came when he went to retrieve his trophy.

Homeroom Reflection Junior year I have grown as a student this semester by watching the mala movie. This has helped me grow as a student because it showed me how just one voice can change so much in a community. From this experience I learned how Mala was an ordinary girl but who ones spoke up for what she believed was right for her community and the people all around her. After she started to change her community on a positive way for example, have more schools so students can have an education and making sure girls were able to attend school more often. Therefore, when she spoke up for what she thought was right and changed people 's life there was some who didn 't appreciate what she was doing so decided to shot her and ended up shooting her on her forehead.
Freedom Summer, or the Mississippi Summer Project, was a volunteer campaign launched in June 1964 to attempt to register as many African-American voters as possible in Mississippi, which had historically excluded most blacks from voting. The project also set up dozens of Freedom Schools throughout Mississippi to aid the local black population. The projects leadership and funding came from the SNCC and COFO, along with hundreds of white college students in the north. In 1963, the SNCC organized a mock vote for blacks, which gave them a chance to prove they were capable of understanding politics. The civil rights activists from both organizations and the white volunteers from the north faced many challenges during the campaign.
After Hurricane Katrina hits, Abdulrahman Zeitoun faces many complications. These hardships, however are not all due to the physical damage done by the storm. In Dave Eggers, Zeitoun, Eggers makes the assertion that people think differently of others due to their race or religion. Unfortunately, this is the way it is, both in 2005 when the book takes place and currently in 2016.
My Omi, which means grandmother in German, often tells me stories about when she was young living in Germany. As I got older, I became more curious about the many life experiences she encountered. The stories she told me were so surreal I could not even imagine living in her shoes. Her shared moments ranged from stories of her grandmother in the concentration camp to her meeting my grandfather and moving to the United States.
Being Mexican American in The United States, I wanted to learn more about my culture and the impact Mexicans or Mexican Americans have had in the community or the communities surrounding me. Researching historical places, I stumble upon Olvera Street. Olvera Street is known to be the first pueblo in what today we call Los Angeles, California. When Olvera Street was founded in 1781, it was called El pueblo de Nuestra Señora Reina de Los Ángeles, which translate to “The Settlement of Our Queen of Los Angeles.” After googling Olvera Street and noticing that I live a couple of miles away, I decided to take a small trip.
