1. William Sharp’s poem is sad and is about the loss of a loved one. The title “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” is significant because all five of the main characters are looking for someone they can pour their heart to. Four of the five main characters use Singer as someone to vent to however, after Singer loses Antonapoulos, he has no one to confide to anymore. His heart is searching, or hunting, for someone to let his real self show.
2. In my opinion, loneliness is not being able to control not having friends or something indirectly causing you to be lonely usually unintentionally, however isolation is more isolating yourself from the community or staying to yourself and blocking everyone out intentionally. Some of the characters try to alleviate their feelings of loneliness and isolation by confiding in their feelings to Singer.
3. I agree with the narrator that all four of the main characters are both ordinary and heroic. They are all ordinary because each one of them lives a normal life that is similar to most people, however they are heroic because each

John Singer’s devotion to Antonapoulos is fueled by his love and the mutual circumstances that they both share. After Antonapoulos is sent to the asylum, McCullers writes “the weeks that followed did not seem real at all. All day Singer worked over his bench in the back of the jewelry store, and then at night he returned to the house alone”. It is during this period that Singer shares his past, like how he learned how to speak and how to sign, however after meeting Antonapoulos, he chose to “never speak with his mouth again, because with his friend there was no need for this”. Singer is finally allowing himself to become vulnerable to the hearing world after his friend is sent to the asylum. He feels alone after one of his only friends leave him and scared about the fact that he has to face the real world that he was so isolated from for almost ten

I believe they all acted heroically because they're all made a difference and helped people out with life making it easier. All in all, i conclude that the 3 important people have made good
Jodi Picoult once said, “Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” The novel, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, written by Carson McCullers, highlights the theme of isolation throughout. In most cases, an astute listener helps ease a person’s feeling of isolation. John Singer, the town’s deaf mute, represents a confidant to the other protagonists, Dr. Benedict Copeland, Biff Brannon, and Mick Kelly as they struggle with their isolation.
This reveals pathos as he explains his experience through strong emotions such as broken homes, defending others or yourself, and the difficulty of fitting into the
He refers to himself as Death, implying he has all knowledge and power over the old man. The reader becomes filled with dread as the man patiently waits to kill. The imagery portrayed in “The Tell-tale Heart” increases the demented tone that the narrator projects as the main character waits to strangle the old man. Every night, for a week, the murderer would “look in” upon the victim as he slept.
This shows how his environment has changed him, and even when it came to his father's death, he didn't even shed a tear, he was just emotionally incapable, and he even was relieved that his father had

“ The Tell-Tale Heart” Interpretive Essay Is the complex character created by Edgar Allan Poe a calculated killer or a delusional madman. In the short story “The Tell Tale Heart” by Edgar Allan Poe, the main character has a mental condition which causes him to kill a neighbor. He believes that his neighbor has a “vulture eye” which is the reason why he killed him. Night after night, he watches the man and plans how to kill him. Then one night, he puts his plan into action.
People interpret these two emotions differently, for loneliness are expressed more frequently. “Loneliness is not just being alone. You can feel lonely even when you are surrounded by people. Loneliness means feeling isolated. It leaves you feeling sad or afraid ”(Carter, Ann).
In enduring these complex emotions, this section was the most remarkable part. One of the first apparent emotions the boy experiences with the death of his father is loneliness to make this section memorable. The boy expresses this sentiment when he stays with his father described as, “When he came back he knelt beside his father and held his cold hand and said his name over and over again,” (McCarthy 281). The definition of loneliness is, “sadness because one has no friends or company.”
Loneliness is a strong word, however it means a lot to be lonely. The definition of lonely or loneliness is sadness because one has no friends or company. In the novel Of Mice and Men John Steinbeck shows that Crooks, Candy, and Curley’s Wife have loneliness because they never have company or friends to talk to. These Character’s show that loneliness is a problem that must be overcome in order to live a happy, fulfilled life.
The point of this assignment was to evaluate a hero on their heroism which is why I have made some assessment criterion to assess my hero. I used criterion A, B and C to assess my hero. Criterion A is being helpful, to get a 7-8 for a hero he should be very helpful to everyone
He realizes he is in exile and there really is nothing he nor anyone else can do about it. By accepting his life, (luck and fate in all) of being in exile, it makes for a much calmer journey(for the time that these emotions
