A hero is a man who shows courage. A man who is admired for his achievements and noble qualities. This does not mean a hero has to be strong or tall. Heroes can come in all shapes and sizes. Hero’s are everywhere in this world sometimes they're around you other times they are far away, but everyone has a different hero. When we see a hero most people look up to that person because they know that they have done something good for someone. A hero’s place in society can be all over the world due to their different senses, but most of them will know when something bad is going to happen or when they know that you will need their help to fight mankind. A hero is someone that you look up too because you know that they do the right thing.

As humans, we tend to idolize people from all over the world for their remarkable qualities, bravery, actions, skills, leadership or ways of life. While there is a myriad of traits that heroes possess, the most significant ones are their bravery, their willingness to ask for help, and their strength to always do what is honorable.

A neighbor, a child, a firefighter, or a politician. Heroes are determined, they never do anything for personal gain, and they always fight for good. Heroes stand up for what is right, and see everything through to the end. For example, during 9/11 when the Twin Towers began to collapse, and many people were stranded on the island, ordinary people decided to help strangers to safety.

Most heroes believe that the world can always be changed for the better. An example of a great hero is Jazz Jennings, one of the youngest transgender girls who is strong and proud of who she is.

When I hear the word “hero” I think of someone like Chris Kyle. Someone who laid down his life for his own people and his country. When I was little and someone asked me who I thought was a hero I would say “Batman,” but today if someone asked me the same question I would say Chris Kyle, because he is the definition of a hero.

A hero for me is kind, generous, and respectful. My hero is Dwayne Johnson. He was born on May 2 1972. He is a film actor, professional wrestler, producer, and singer. Dwayne Johnson stands as a hero because he has helped foundation for kids, he helps people in the military,other people , and he is inspiring.

A hero supports you, and assures you safety. The American heroes, or our soldiers, are great examples. They fight for not only our freedom, but for freedom and protection for their loved ones.

A hero comes in many shapes, form, and sizes. What makes someone a hero? Picking someone’s pencil off the ground they dropped doesn’t make you a hero… it takes a special person to be a hero. When we think about the word hero we think, police officer, firefighter, but in reality it could be anyone. For example, a young girl decides to put her baby up for adoption, a mother without child decides to adopt this baby.

A famous sport player? A police officer or war veteran? According to the article “Our Definition of Hero”, “our definition of hero is based on our work as social scientists.” (Allison and Goethals) We tend to pick heroes on our personal experiences, such as a soccer player listing a soccer star as their personal hero, or a rescued child choosing a police officer or firefighter as their hero from past experiences.

My Hero Is there someone that you look up to? Many people do and they have a different view on who they believe a hero is. To me a hero is a person who can make the right decisions, has the courage to take down his enemies and is strong. My hero is Spiderman, because he has all of the qualities of being a hero. Spiderman has his physical strength and emotional strength and his intelligence as well as his courage.
