Many fortunate children in this world wonder why they have to go to school, and whine because they want to stay home and play. What they don’t know is that the People around kids need them to go to school all the time not just for education, but also so they may go to work and feed their families. That is why Year-Round would be a great option for everybody to use in the US. The reason that Year-Round Schooling would be great is because, you may have food, and a place to sleep and wake up, but what about the children that don’t have what you have, they rely on their next meal coming from the school cafeteria. The only reason people wouldn’t agree would be because they want to spend time with their children, but they will still be able to because year round schooling gives short bursts of breaks about two weeks every other month(Towler). Finally, Year-Round Schooling would be a great idea to interpret and merge into our school . so that we can not just learn more but not be stressed out and forget what we learned the previous year. What they don’t know is that the People around kids need them to go to school all the time not just for education but, also so they may go to work and feed their families. This method of teaching is something that I have experienced when I was a child and I enjoyed learning while taking one week break about every
Things such as “family vacations, childcare, and routine living would be disrupted by year-round education programs” (1). Year-round school systems would take up most of the year in general. Due to year-round schedules interfering with family trips/vacations in the summer, “parent are concerned that their families would not have enough time to take vacations without a long summer break” (Chen 5). Some families do need a longer summer break to prepare and save money for vacation; families need a vacation to relax and unwind. By transferring to a year-round schedule, family vacations would be disrupted by the different tracks of the schedule.

My first argument I would like to discuss is about how it would affect farmers if the TDSB switch to a year around school schedule. According to the USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture), small family farms average 231 acres; large family farms average 1,421 acres. So, because farms are very large. In the summer when the crops grow in, because the land is big, farmers require help and can’t do it by themselves, so they wake up early and their students help them pull crops and do the work that is too much for their parents. Though if the TDSB switch to a year around school schedule.

Year-round schooling could decrease time for families and cause difficulties with scheduling childcare. Whether year-round schooling should be enforced in Florida schools has been a recent debate. Florida schools should not take part in year-round schooling schedules because it makes sports and jobs very hard to get too, also year-round schooling gives teachers insufficient time to prepare for the next school year. Even though year-round school gives students more breaks, there is no proof that it helps students academically. So traditional school is better and should stay in Florida.
After day. Many districts in Florida have been debating whether or not to enforce year-round school. Year-round school should not be enforced because it will make finding childcare difficult for parents and kids will miss out on the joys of summer vacations and camps. Although it can be argued that year-round school may make it so children forget less of the material they learned because there are no long breaks, there is no proof of this so schools should continue with the traditional schedule.
The most obvious downside of year-round school is the effect it can have on families. So If you have a year-round school you won 't have time to see your family. Like any other controversial topic, there are both benefits and drawbacks to the year-round schooling system.
