The upper class can buy and have what they want not the lower class. The lower class has to either walk to work, work more than two jobs to support their families, and maintain good health while the middle and upper class has their “basic needs” handed to them, pretty much. If I had to choose between one of the theories between principle of equal liberty and difference principle, it would be principle of equal liberty. It would be principle of equal liberty because everyone should be treated equally even if they are more poorer than others.

In the more developed regions of the world such as the United States, the United Nations and some of the Asian Countries, the form of economy there is Capitalism. Capitalism allows business owners to expand as much as they like since businesses are privately owned and the government have little to no influence on them. To the rich, capitalism is great, it allows them to be as rich as they want, but to the poor, capitalism only makes them poorer, it creates a disparity in social class system, and the varying changes in employment rate as a result of monopolization. Capitalism, due to monopolization makes the poor stay poor. To elaborate: a monopoly is when a person or a group owns the majority of the supply for the public.

While Wealth disparity otherwise called the wealth gap is the unequal distribution of benefits among residents of the United States. Riches incorporates the estimations of homes, vehicles, individual assets, organizations, reserve funds, and speculations. So to kill capitalism would essentially be killing all of the hope left within the laborers for a better tomorrow. The system may stifle the chances of economic mobility, but the death of capitalism would make this a definite reality eliminating all chances for change. However, at this time there were two poor classes: the laborers and the farmers. For the farmers, a switch to communism seemed to be the perfect solution to ending their poverty as this would put them on the same playing field as big businesses and industries. However, as for the laborers communism would only establish their poverty stricken position as permanent.

As much as people hate to admit it, society and the world revolves around money. Whether someone wants to go to college, own a house, support a family, live luxurious etc all these things are dependent on wealth. So, knowing that the top one percent wealthiest people in the U.S owns more than the other ninety-nine percent combined is a little terrifying, and it’s partly due to the income inequality in the U.S. When there are people supporting their families on minimum wage and no one has taken action it’s time for a change. So, when it comes to the subject of wealth everyone will agree that is necessary to live. Where this consensus ends, however, is whether income inequality actually exists.

The individual by pursuing his economic self-interest simultaneously profits the all others’ economic self-interest of that society. Since each individual acts unhampered by government rules in capitalism, it causes the creation of wealth in a very efficient manner which then ultimately causes the rise of the living standard, the increase of the economic opportunities, and the rise of the supply of products. Therefore, when an economy functions with a free-market system everyone has the chance to create wealth for himself and in the same time he simultaneously creates opportunities for everyone else interests. This means that while the rich becomes richer the even poor one becomes richer. Such like, the Capitalism serves everyone for achieving their economic self-interest, including non-capitalists.

Using these two arguments of; exploitation and unequal treatment I believe capitalism is doomed. The world has always consisted of class struggles, “freeman and slave, patrician and plebeian, lord and self, guild master and journeyman” however, each time the torch was past from society to society it was because of the two arguments listed above (Marx, 92). The lower class at the time simply had enough or the world was expanding and advancing at such a rate that the ruling class could not keep up. Millions of people live in poverty all over the world. The rich don’t really know how to poor are living. The poor doesn’t know how the rich are living. Wouldn’t it be ridiculous to see people in serious poverty then see some people in huge mansions. That’s an example of exactly what wealth inequality is.
