Merriam-Webster defines gun control as a set of laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of fire arms by civilians. No matter what, this topic seems to always bring up controversy. Some people believe that the banning of guns will significantly reduce crime rates and other incidents gun related. While others strongly believe that gun control will not at all help reduce crime rates whatsoever, and criminals will always find a way to carry illegal weapons. Looking at crime rates from state to state can tell us much more about the effectiveness of different gun laws. Statistics on this subject seem to vary in many ways possible. Many resources openly discussed that states with extremely enforced gun laws have a higher crime rate, rather than states that have little to no gun laws. A complete gun ban is almost out of the question and nearly impossible. It is not possible to remove all of the guns out of society. Criminals are law breakers, no matter what they will always find a way to obtain an illegal weapon. Believe it or not but completely getting rid of guns from an innocent population will put us in even more danger. This means no longer having the proper protection against any crime. Criminals seem to like this idea because it makes their job a whole lot easier. They are drawn to populations with less protection because it gives them a lower risk of getting caught or
