Why Does Elie Wiesel Deserve The Book Night

There is a very important person named Elie Wiesel. Elie Wiesel was a very important person that was in the Holocaust. He has wrote a book called “Night” describing his time during the Holocaust in (1941-1945). Throughout the Holocaust a lot of his life has changed. Elie Wiesel has a normal life before he went into the Holocaust.

The Changed Man Elie Wiesel wrote the memoir Night about himself as the character Elie Wiesel. He along with his family and many others were forced to endure the Holocaust. Wiesel and his father were separated from him his mother and sister at the first camp. They went from camp to camp with only one thought in mind which was not to be separated from one another. Not to mention, that in the end Elie lost his family and experienced/ witnessed many horrible things that changed him.

Elie Wiesel was a survivor of the holocaust, nobel peace prize winner, and an author of many books including ‘Night’. Night is about Elie's experiences in Auschwitz. Elies spent nearly one year in the concentration camp, he was deported in May of 1944 and was liberated in April of 1945. Elie throughout his teenage years had an up and down relationship with his faith. Elie's faith before the concentration camps was very strong, he was very concerned about his studies of his faith.

Just like Poe and Hinton another author uses his writing and novels to express his life to readers. Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor, expresses his experience and sacrifices throughout the Jewish way of life during the Nazi takeover and World War II. Wiesel didn 't just write the book for his own fame though. He brought many interesting reasons to make such a horrible event in history more clear in others eyes. Wiesel explains that one of the reasons for writing about his experience is to leave behind a legacy of words that will influence people and prevent history from repeating itself (Wiesel vii).

The Holocaust will always be something remembered, whether it is 10 years from now or 50, it will always have an impact.
