In the death of Romeo and Juliet many of there kin and friends were to blame, but who really was the fault to there death. Was Romeo and Juliet’s suicide a consequence for their family feud? If the Capulets and Montagues would have been family friends, would the suicide of these two have happened? In my theory these people were to blame- Lady Capulet, Friar Lawrence, and Lord Capulet. In the Capulet family, Lady Capulet was a major factor in the suicides of these two. Lady Capulet pushed Juliet to the edge by forcing her to marriage with Paris. Lady Capulet was high society and wanted her daughter to marry the best of the best. Lady Capulet would dare not let Juliet marry a Montague. When Lady Capulet proposed marriage, Juliet said she would “look to love”, Lady Capulet wanted more than that she wanted Juliet too marry soon and to have children of her own to carry on the family name. Juliet did not want to rush into marriage this is why Lady Capulet could have been a factor in the suicides of these two. …show more content…
Friar Lawrence was asked by Juliet to give her a spell of sleeping, she wanted to fake a death. Once Lawrence put her to sleep, his last job was to send word to Romeo that Juliet was dead. Romeo was curious to find his soon to be wife so he went to search for Juliet. When he found Juliet, he thought that she was dead so he drank poisoned wine to commit his own death. If Friar Lawrence would have gotten the letters to go through, Romeo would have not killed
Many wonder who should truly be blamed for Romeo and Juliet's death. Could it have been the fact that both of their parents refused to let them see each other which cause this or could it have been Friar Lawrence's or the Nurse's fault for persuading and assisting what they knew would end with trouble. Many describe their deaths as an inevitable event that just couldn't be avoided but couldn't it have? Looking back and reading, it is believed that the Friar had the most influence on both Romeo and Juliet causing their deaths. It was even him who suggested that Juliet wait for Romeo in the tomb, which leads to Romeo killing himself since he supposedly believes that Juliet is dead.

Lord Capulet insisted that Juliet marry into a powerful and rich family even though Juliet wanted to marry Romeo. This puts Juliet in a tough situation where she has to choose between her family and Romeo. This led to bad results as Juliet took extreme measures to escape getting married to Paris and stay with Romeo, including taking her own life.
This reason is that Lord Capulet's family has problems with Romeo's Family. If they never had problems then Juliet and Romeo would never killed there selves. I think they would have not committed suicide because Juliet could have simply told her father that she is in love with Romeo. But since they do have family feud if she told her father that he would have probably killed her. On the other hand when Romeo told his father about him marring Juliet his father wanted them to get married.

Friar Laurence is to blame as well because if he would have went and told Romeo personally about the plan which was to put Juliet to sleep for 42 hours and when she woke up Romeo was to be there at her side. If Friar Laurence wasn 't lazy Romeo 's death could have been avoided. Next, Friar Laurence would have went into the Monument with Juliet waiting for Romeo instead of showing up after; Romeo would have not assumed that Juliet was dead and then proceed to kill himself. Friar had the chance to fix the previous mistake of not talking to Romeo face to face. I say that because when he found out that the letter didn 't get to Romeo he should have went to the Tomb where Juliet was and sat there with her until she awakened and explained to her what happened and sat together waiting for
Capulet decides that Juliet needs to marry Paris, and Juliet decides to make up a lie which leads to her death. But get yourself ready for Thursday. You're going to Saint Peter's Church to marry Paris.”
