Stephen F. Austin was born on November 3, 1793, in southwestern Virginia. Five years later, his father, Moses Austin, moved his family to southeastern Missouri. He was sent to Connecticut for schooling around the age of 10 or 11. After this, he attended Transylvania University, which is in Lexington, Kentucky, for two years. Young Stephen was fairly successful, so much so that he even began worked alongside his father, Moses, in various business ventures. They continued to work together until Moses 's death in 1821. It is actually kind of ironic, because he died from pneumonia, too. Stephen continued his father 's colonization project, which would wind up leading him to his push for the independence in the state of Texas.

Zachary Taylor was born November 24th, 1784 in Orange county Virginia. His father was Richard Taylor, a lieutenant of the Revolutionary War. His mother was Sarah Dabney Strothers Taylor. He had six brothers and three sisters. His father received a large piece of land in Kentucky for his service in the war.
Stephen Hopkins was born on March 7, 1707 in Scituate (then a part of Providence), Rhode Island. Hopkins was the second oldest signer of the constitution, behind Benjamin Franklin. (1) Growing up Hopkins was supposedly self-educated. Hopkins gained his success purely by his own efforts. Scituate was an agricultural community and Hopkins earned his living farming.
Stephen Hopkins was a man born into riches, but overcame many struggles like any man. Hopkins was educated through books and not schools as there were none in the early days of American civilization. Although he was not taught very many subjects he still excelled in life and became a knowing and wise man. Hopkins quickly rose up in politics and did many other important things than just signing a paper filled with thoughts of liberty. Stephen accomplished the ultimate goal of being remembered as a kind hearted man that knew what was right and firmly walked in righteousness.

(Adams, John) His father was named John Adams as well, he was a farmer, parish, and militia officer. (Adams John) His mother Susanna Boylston Adams was from a family of Brookline and Boston merchants and physicians.

Rick Perry was elected governor of Texas in late 2000, when Governor George W. Bush resigned to become the president of the United States. Since I was allowed to choose one of ten governors from the modern era of the state government, I chose him for my essay because he has a great amount of integrity, he is a good man. Rick Perry was born on March 4, 1950. He is a wonderful man and he has been a great Texas Governor. But there is another reason that I selected him as my governor because from what I have read about him when he served as a governor of Texas from 2000-2015, there are some interested fact that caught my attention.
Steven Avery, born on July 9, 1962 was born and raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Avery’s parents, Dolores Avery and Allan Avery owned an auto salvage yard that Steven Avery worked at in his earlier years. Steven Avery and his family were not really liked in the town and mostly stayed to themselves. The Avery’s believed that the town’s people thought very little of them and always isolated them around town. At the age of 22, Steven Avery was wrongfully convicted of rape.
Ted Cruz was born on a December 22, 1970. Teddy boy was born in the rural areas of Canada called Calgary. Ted’s family was living there because his parents were working in the oil industry. At the big boy age of 4 Ted Cruz and his family moved to Texas. Texas is where Ted graduated high school.

His father was a farmer and a decedent of Henry Adams. His mother was a decedent of the Boylstons of Brookline a family in colonial Massachusetts.
James Buchanan was born in Cove Gap, Pennsylvania, on April 23, 1791. He was the son of Irish immigrants who had made a successful life for themselves as merchants in rural Pennsylvania. The Buchanans could afford to send James to good schools, and after graduating with honors from Dickinson College, James Buchanan studied law. His legal and political careers moved forward together. Becoming a successful attorney, he advanced from state legislator to national figure, including membership in both houses of Congress, ambassadorships, and a cabinet post.

His father Fyodor Stravinsky was a bass singer at the Mariinsky Theater in St Petersburg. So at a very young age Igor Stravinsky was exposed to music.

Since his family was unsuccessful he moved them to New York in 1898. Fitzgerald mother, Mollie Mcquillan Fitzgerald family was Irish and was very successful. Fitzgerald went to St. Paul academy, where he attended school.

Abraham Lincoln was born in Hodgenville , Kentucky by Sinking spring Nolin Creek. 2 years after, his family then moved to a 230 acre place at Knob creek 10 miles where he was born .
