What does success mean to me? It means accomplishing things in life and reaching your goals. Everyone has a different view of what success actually is. Success also means setting a goal and reaching it in a time frame you set for yourself. For example I believe finishing college and gaining a career in a field you love is being successful because it is a goal that can be achieved. Another person might think of success as making millions of dollars and having a huge house with nice cars this is also an achievable goal. I want nothing more than to graduate with a degree and start my career as a dental hygienist. A short term goal that will help me become successful is studying to ace every test given to me. I learned that any barrier you face there is always an option to overcome it and be successful. I can grow by working my hardest on my school work and never giving up, even when things get hard. I also learned that time management is a very great skill to obtain at this time in my life, because college courses take time, effort, and lots of patience. I must give myself time to prepare for class work and especially exams. Having a schedule for my school work and my personal life is the best choice to help me stay on track. To make sure I keep my busy schedule straight I write everything down in a planner so that I don 't forget doctor 's appointments, when exams are, and family events, ect.. I am grateful I had to write this paper, because it made me realize how challenging my barriers will be to overcome, and how much they will affect my life. This assignment made me realize what I really wanted to do with my life as far as my career and my outlook on life as a whole. The paper helped me make a plan to overcome my barriers by never giving up, taking pride in my school work, showing me how difficult life will be, even though I know I can do it. I can grow by following my plan because it is a plan to help me become successful not only in small things like my homework assignments, but as well as graduating and receiving my degree, and taking care of my
When you think of success what comes to mind? In sports it’s making it to the pros. In business it’s making your first million. In high school it can be as simple as acing that test you studied for all night. No matter what profession you are in, success is the desired goal.
Each and everyone has our own idea of how success looks like. But for me, success is something that you’ve worked so hard to get to that you now have pride to have or be. But success isn’t so easy to reach. There's going to be challenges and times where one thinks they won't succeed. Its when you’ve flourished to the point where you’re happy with the placement of your life.
What does the word success mean? Many argue different things, some say that success is how much money you have and some say that it’s how happy you are. In reality, success has little to do with those things; the definition simply depends on who you ask. In the book Into the Wild, Jon Krauker distinguishes Chris McCandless’s ultimate goal very early in the book; Chris wanted to avoid the norms and live a simple life in the Alaskan wilderness. Success is not defined as fame, money, or power, but as the goals, people achieve for themselves and society.
What Is Success What is success? According to the dictionary, it is “the fact that you have achieved something that you want and have been trying to do or get; the fact of becoming rich or famous or of getting a social position, etc”. Success seems a simple word, yet this plain word renders a large amount of individuals pay relentless endeavors. Remembering the CCTV host Wang Zhi said that success is relative, and everyone has its own standard of success. For many people, success means money, statue, reputation, and so on.
Success is found in all goals that are accomplished no matter how small or large that they are. Being successful doesn 't always mean that one must accomplish goals that are hard. To others it could be marrying the person they love. To be happy with that person for the rest of their life is a big success. Being successful at an educational standpoint would be graduating college with a degree in a future career.
The general aspiration of the word success, is defined by or achieved by, hard work and determination, overcoming failure, and helping others, especially when money isn’t available. According to the dictionary, success is the favorable or desired outcome, also, the attainment of wealth, favor or eminence. However, the dictionary definition of success does not express that success varies among each individual. The dictionary definition also focuses on wealth resulting in being successful, which does not hold to be true. Being successful can be displayed through many different views, but one thing is always similar with how each success story was achieved.
There are some people, well, a lot of people, that don’t understand the true meaning of success. Like little kids. They think it is just beating a level in their “super hard” video game. Dictionary definition says “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose”, “the attainment of popularity or profit” and “a person or thing that achieves a desired aim or attains prosperity”. So they are somewhat right actually.
When Success Is All You Want “Life’s what you make it” When I was 17 years old I decided to get sworn into the U.S. Army. It wasn’t easy at all getting in. All the stacks of paperwork to fill out made my brain go into overload. I had to take so many tests, go through exhausting examinations, and go on so many trips back and forth to M.E.P.S with my talkative recruiter. I almost gave up on it and said I didn’t want to do it again because I was starting to get discouraged.
What makes someone a success? Success is for someone who has work hard or done their every best to earn it. By earning it, they must’ve had to work hard on school so they can get to where they are in life. The job you earn is all because of you education you have. By job becomes money, and they can choose a way of life they want to go, a life with a family or just complete loneliness and just really snotty with money, maybe depending on how you use the money.
One might ask, "What is success?" Success can be interpreted in many ways. Success might be as simple as reaching a goal of getting a good grade on a test, or success could be as great as starting a multi-million dollar business. Whatever people think success looks like is not what success really is. There is this picture.
What Is Success? Success is a thing that many people want but only a few get. Those who don’t get success ask themselves questions like “Why can’t I be successful?” or “Why can’t that be me?”
I can’t really define success. I don’t think anyone can, but to me success is when you have worked very hard for what you have accomplished and when you are able to triumph over obstacles and barriers in life. “When you wanna succeed, as bad as you wanna breathe, then you’ll be successful.” (Eric Thomas) what success really means to me is hard work.
Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to be successful in life. I have always wanted to be the better version of my parents and achieve many things in life. During my freshman year in High school, I knew I was going to major in business. I come from a household of five, my father, mother, two younger sisters, and myself. I am the first in my family to go to college and with that being said, I have always felt the pressure to be the best role model and example for my younger sisters.
What does it mean to be successful? I believe to be successful you have to be a hard worker. Someone who trys hard doesn’t mind staying up late doing work. Goes over what they did before they give what they worked on to someone like their boss or teacher. Someone who will also do anything to get the job done.
Success is an intimidating word to many individuals, but it is up to that person to discover what it means to them. People in this world tend to give up because once the road gets rough, they can 't see a light at the end of the tunnel. But they are wrong, once an individual is face to face with adversity, they should set a goal and do their best to achieve it at any cost. That is what success means to me, 'example ' trying your best, meeting your goals, and having no regrets are all a person needs to be successful. When I grow up my dream is to live in Hawaii or Portugal, I 'd love to own a house in a private area where I can go outside and enjoy the nature.
