He definitely beats Mark Cuban and Jeff Bezos. Walt Disney’s whole background really does touch me. From a kid he dream of becoming a cartoon artist. He goes to college and attends art classes every day he could to learned. Finally when he did learn he created the first ever Disney character which is Mickey Mouse.

Walt Disney Was an American Entrepreneur, cartoonist, animator, voice actor, and film producer. He is the most famous for his iconic, American character, Mickey Mouse. On November 18, 1932, Disney received a special Academy Award for the creation of the character “Mickey Mouse.” Disney’s first movie was an extreme success, and is still widely popular today; Snow White and the Six Dwarfs. Henry Ford is famous for his worldwide vehicle company, “Ford”.

In life some feel the need to prove something to others. That they are better, stronger, or even more intelligent. Whatever the case may be people will go through extreme measures to prove themselves. But who do we really need to prove anything to? Is it our parents?

Walt Disney was one person who was greatly impacted by the free enterprise system, and who greatly impacted the buisness world. Ho was not only the pioneer of animation, but he has built two multi-million dollar theme parks, that many people today enjoy and come from all over the world to see. Most people think that you have to be rich and have lots of money to become an entrepenur, but many people start off with nothing at all, that was the case with Walt Disney. He started off with nothing, living out of his office and eating cold beans before he became the successful entrepeneur he is today. Walt Disney had an impact on the world through media, science, and animation. When most people think of Walt Disney, they think of the creator of Mickey Mouse and Disneyland. Walt Disney’s impact went way beyond just cartoons and theme parks. Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. His parents were Elias and Flora Disney.

To start off the owner and founder of the company and theme parks, Walt Disney was born the fourth of five children to a poor family who owned a farm in Marceline, Missouri (Nix). It was in this small town that he was encouraged to pursue his interest in drawing from his aunt and his neighbor. But due to his family’s poverty his father had to sell the farm and relocated the family to Kansas City (Nix). Due to several circumstances Walt’s father sold his newspaper route in Kansas and moved to Chicago to work in a jelly and fruit juice company. It is here that Walt dropped out of high school at age 16 because he drew constantly and did not pay attention in class.

The Walt Disney Company was founded on October 16, 1923 by Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio. The Company established itself as a leader in the American animation industry with iconic characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse with their first appearance in Steamboat Willie in 1928. The Walt Disney Company has grown to encompass more than just its own brand by diversifying into live-action film production, television, and theme parks, music, publishing, and online media and operating the ABC broadcast television network.

Does hearing the tagline “The Happiest place on earth” takes you on a memory lane of the very first day at Disneyland? The Walt Disney Company, was a dream of the most famous name in the animation industry and the creator of Mickey Mouse, Walt Elias Disney and now the company has estimated net worth of an about 36 billion dollars. The company has been running from 1923 till current and I have decided to take the first 43 years (1923 to 1966) in consideration because I wish to tell the reader how the company went from Good to Great under the supervision of Walt Elias Disney.

When a person hears the name Steven Spielberg, they immediately think of the blockbuster movies, Jaws, Extra terrestrial Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones etc. However, Spielberg has directed other important films, many of which were selected to be saved by the national film registry like Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan, for their extreme accuracy in the portrayal of important moments and people in history. However, there is still a debate whether Spielberg should  be considered the best director of all time. The answer to this question is obvious , he definitely is  the best as he has directed blockbusters as well historical films where his use of the camera, his choice of actors, music and his attention to detail make him the best director

Walt’s easy-going personality, committment to family and professional integrity made both his private and professional lives happy and successful, as the legacy he left us continues. There is a reason his businesses have continued to flourish, and to this day, have never wavered in their success. Two of Walt Disney’s most famous quotes are, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” and, “I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse.”

This may sound simple but it was a lot different than the Anaheim resort competing with the Six Flags parks in Los Angeles.
