I see myself being an engaged member of the WCU and Brinson Honors College community by being involved in community service opportunities, becoming a member of leadership organizations, and taking advantage of opportunities to study and serve in a different country or to participate in undergraduate studies. I plan to be engaged in the WCU community by being involved in all that I can be involved in. Specifically, I hope to become involved in at least one of the faith-based groups on campus, such as the Baptist Student Fellowship at WCU or the Campus Crusade for Christ. Becoming involved in faith-based organizations is important to me and will allow me to love God and love people better by learning more about God and participating in service projects that will share his love and truth. Additionally, I want to join a local Church family, where I hope to serve in various aspects of the Church, especially those that involve children, something that I am passionate about. Moreover, I hope to find other organizations and opportunities to serve others, either on or off campus, that will make others' lives better, possibly even becoming involved in initiatives run by the local school system, since I hope to be heavily involved in at least one of the local schools as I …show more content…
Being a part of these groups will likely be beneficial to my interpersonal skills and will challenge me to do something that will benefit other students. Likewise, I would also like to become involved in WCU's student government association as I think this would be a great opportunity to continue to hone the skills that I have been developing during my High School student government experience, while also learning to work with a larger and more diverse group of people than I have worked with
I want to be admitted into UW Oshkosh to help me have a better education and brighter future. My high school diploma is the foundation of my education but my college education will be the main structure for my future. UW Oshkosh will provide me with more than just a degree, it will provide me with an experience that I don’t think I can find in any other college. I know UW Oshkosh is the right college for me. I am a good student for UW Oshkosh because I plan to be an involved member of the Oshkosh campus community, I am a hard worker, and I know getting a degree is how I will obtain a career I want.
I have worked so hard in school waiting for a moment like this. UNCW would be a great challenge for me, but it would also help me out immensely. UNCW has a excellent education program and that is exactly the field of study I aim to go into. I spent approximately half of my sophomore year at the early college tutoring at Dobson Elementary. I cherished every second helping my fifth grade class.
My name is Xavier Lira and I am a devoted, empathetic individual who has developed an earnest passion for helping others. I am the son of two hardworking immigrant parents who sacrificed the life they knew in Mexico with the hope of a better tomorrow for their children. I am the son of my softhearted mother and resilient father who taught me the importance of appreciating life and pursuing happiness. I was raised to use my morality as a better judgment and taught to be grateful for the life I was blessed with, especially when times were difficult. This lesson was mainly demonstrated to me when my family and I did not have a place to call home after nearly losing my father in a work-related accident.
During my time with the club I often met with Kiwanis (A organization of volunteers), soon I learned that Kiwanis created The Key club to give high school students an opportunity to serve their community. I also uncovered that The Georgia Institute of Technology also enjoys a Kiwanis club. In terms of service I believe that through community service, I may make a positive contribution to Georgia Tech upon arrival. I am very excited to join Kiwanis in college. I have always served locally, but I am exuberant to assist broader
All along, I have managed to maintain the principles of ethics and integrity, a strong sense of purpose, and morality, which binds me rigidly. Appointment as student leader in all stages of my school and college life has presented me with opportunity to interact with people, develop organizational and communication skills. My involvement with speech, debate and sports has made me more than just an academic person In the pursuit of excellence and with a passion to reach the highest skills in my discipline, I look upon University of Texas, Arlington a springboard to accomplish my dreams. This esteemed institution can serve as a ladder and enable me to achieve higher aims by providing me the most contemporary input and exposure.
Not only do these clubs recognize academic excellence, they also provide many opportunities for community service. Blood drives, food drives and Operation Christmas Child are only a few of the projects that we participate in throughout the year. I am

I am interested in Howard University because it is an HBCU that encompass the themes of cultural diversity and education. Your commitment to scholars ensures me that at your school I will be right at home. Since I intend on on going down a medical path, I know that Howard University will provide me with best resources to follow my dreams. As a child I was always interested in the worlds around me and how things worked. As a result I participated in a Summer Enrichment Program located at Indiana University in Bloomington.
UTEP has long been a second home for me. I have spent much of my life on campus, finding appreciation for an academic environment. Seeing my family teaching and working here began to develop my desire to become a professor. My mentors have only pushed this dream further, aiding me to succeed in my career choice. The university has prepared me beyond what I expected for an undergraduate degree.
I am competitive; I look for the chance to run the extra mile. My competitive nature has aided in everything I commit myself to. Regardless if I am participating in a sporting event, competing for a solo in a musical production, or preparing for a final, I will indubitably devote my time and efforts to perform as well as possible. I take every opportunity that is presented to me and attempted to better not only myself but my community as well. I am confident that the Honors College at the College of Charleston will enable me to devote my attention to my studies, become actively involved within campus activities and academic assemblies, and offer my time and abilities to charitable events and organizations.
I also want to connect and conduct leadership and service roles with other members who have the same passion as me by extending our service to the community. It would be a great leadership opportunity for me to actively engage in activities and programs that exhibit servant leadership on behalf of Pace University. I believe that this honor society will enhance my leadership skills by creating a community based on benevolence and compassion. I believe that my personality and passion for servant leadership would benefit Lambda Sigma because I love to engage in community service. I am also from a very diverse environment, in which I can bring a new perspective to this community based off of values that I cherish in my every day life such as hōʻihi (respect), kuleana (responsibility), haʻahaʻa (humility), and mālama (to care).
This mission that I share with the University means a lot to me because it 's also something I can bring back to my community. Being a part of USF would help me develop in another way of life where I can become more professional and just a better person overall. I would like to help the world become more successful and live in a community where faith and justice exist. I enjoy been Christian, it shaped me into the man I have grown into. The beliefs, values and family traditions that I have are the foundations of who I am.
I strive to be the most well rounded individual I can be. I feel Marquette University has the opportunities for me to achieve those aspirations. Through research and first hand encounters, such as my campus visit which left me highly impressed, I have found that this university has the ability to open many doors for me whether it is my education, faith, commitment to serve, or extracurriculars. First and foremost, Marquette has the capability to set me up and excel in my future career with its high quality education and programs. I plan on majoring in biomedical sciences and minoring in health studies.
Every student is unique which is why it is so important to have leaders who are all individually unique too. I personally care a lot about my academics and hope to help these incoming freshmen who may be in the same boat. I also believe that this would be a great opportunity
My primary motivation for enrolling in CSU was due to my constant regret for not having attended college immediately out of high school. I went directly to work in an office. Although I have been very successful in my career, I have noticed many Executive Assistant job postings indicate the demand for a Bachelor’s Degree. I personally would find it very gratifying to achieve obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
