Tropical Rainforest Short Story

The forested areas of the park were made up of mostly White Oaks. There was a vast difference is the age and size of the trees as there were few mature trees, but a large number of younger 3”-6” in diameter oaks, ash, and other trees. Deforestation has led to another of many reasons of global warming and low rainfall, which can affect crops for farmers. How it affects resources, services and finance and etc- In resources, deforestation provides a lot of different type of oil, like palm oil and lumber, cattle ranching, farming, buildings, paper, homes, furniture and urbanization. Even though it decreases a natural resources, many different types of other resources are created as a result. Since it provides people with enterprise, it can benefit the distribution of trade with other countries, and increase job opportunities.

It has been the longest 7 years, 7 weeks, 7 days, 7 hours, 6 minutes, and 23 seconds of my life! It has been this long exactly since the last time I saw Ms. Pointy, and I think I will eventually go crazy if I don’t see her sometime soon. Alberto Rios in “Faithful Forest” helps the reader imagine the petrified wood as once part of a living forest with the use of imagery and asking the reader to think about the past. In the first stanza, the author sets the time frame of the woods as ancient, helping the reader imagine the past where the wood was trees and leaves blew in the wind. In the second stanza, Alberto Rios asks the reader to again picture the forest that once existed. Letting the reader know, “it is still forest here, the forest of used-to-be”(Rios 8) pushing readers to imagine the past. In the third stanza, the author uses images of leaves taken by the wind leaving the branches bare, reinforcing the picture of a tree filled forest.

Animals and organisms living in a forest where they get all their food, water and where their habitat is located get’s taken over by deforestation, many do not survive because they can’t physically adapt to new an environment quickly enough. According to National Geographic, effects of deforestation in most forests causes a decrease in water and soil quality and it also contributes to climate change. Not only because of the pollution that is produced when the trees are burnt down, but, trees take in carbon dioxide (CO2) and produce clean oxygen, so living organisms can breathe, however, we are slowing cutting off our clean oxygen supply and

The cool, upland air, flooding through the everlasting branches of the lively tree, as it casts a vague shadow onto the grasses ' fine green.
