To Kill a mockingbird means to destroy innocence which is wat happens in the book.In addition, “Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy…but sing their hearts out for us” (90). Just as mockingbirds dont hurt people and “only sing their hearts out for us” One example of Boo Radely. He does not harm anyone; instead, he leaves Jem and Scout presents, covers Scout with a blanket during the fire, and eventually saves the children from Bob Ewell. Despite his utter kindness he still succombs damage from an abusive father. Another example of this is the Trial of Tom Robinson. Tom was a hard working man who was generous with his gifts to the world. Tom unfortunately gets put on trial for the rape and beating of Mayella Ewell even though he did not do it.
