The Interesting Tale of Hades In Greek mythology there are many different gods and goddesses. There is Zeus, the god of the skies. Then there is Poseidon, the god of the seas. Interestingly enough there is even god by the name of Kronos; he is the god of time. Most all of the gods have special powers that help them to take command of the things they control. Zeus can control the weather and Poseidon can control the waves of the ocean and what goes on there. Despite all of these cool powers and abilities, in my opinion there is a god who is much more interesting and awesome. This god goes by the name of Hades. Hades is the brother of Zeus and Poseidon, but whereas these two reside about the earth, Hades lives in the underworld and has complete …show more content…
Zeus and Poseidon took over the skies and the seas so by the time Hades got to choose he only had one choice and that was the underworld.
Along with being the all powerful ruler of the underworld, Hades is also the god of wealth (which is something I did not know prior to my research). This could also be attributed the the huge amount of greed Hades possesses.
Hades is married to Persephone. Persephone is the daughter of Demeter. Hades basically kidnapped Persephone and forced her to marry him. Even though this is a terrible act to commit, Hades lets Persephone visit her mother three months every year.
This very interesting god does not guard the underworld by himself. To help him he has a three headed dog (also known as a Cerberus). His Cerberus is truly magnificent! It is a three headed dog with lions claws and the tail of a serpent! I don’t know about you but I would love to have one of these animals. The Cerberus let’s people into the underworld, but he does not let them out. You could say this is easily the best guard dog ever.
So there you have it. These are the essentials when first learning about the god Hades. He is probably the most misunderstood god of all time, but that is expected when people only view the surface
Hades and the animal herd were big problems to overcome. Odysseus and his crew were the first people to ever make it through hades. They went to Hades to talk a old blind man who has lots of wisdom. Odysseus got the Zeus curse lifted from them, as long as they didn't eat the gods cattle. Which had a great gain to their journey.
He decided to take risk and go to the underground world. Dipalus' father told him to go to Zeus first for an advice. While Dipalus went to Zeus in Mt. Everest. Zeus told him that Hades is a devil monster with bloody face and nine legs. Hades was also very strong, and could beat anyone up.
The Greeks had twelve gods each god did something for their society. The Greeks believed each god had a throne on top of mount olympus most of them did hades did not. The gods were worshiped by offering sacrifices and building great temples which were they worshiped the mighty kings all except Hades. The oldest of his brothers was known for being the most despicable troublesome god and his presence was not welcomed by gods nor man hades grew bitter and cold always tricking mortals and making the most dirty deals. This god of wealth was called this because all the fortunes and metals that lie beneath the earth he owned.
He doesn’t have a throne on Olympus, either. He sort of does his own thing down in the Underworld.’” This justifies the identified theme because Hades lives in the underworld, sealed out from entering Mount
Though he was ignorant of it, Hades was experiencing joy for the first time in thousands of years. He ran, resembling a thrilled infant, toward the Olympian gardens, utterly ignoring his chariot and its horses. After a quarter of an hour, the gods of the underworld and the sky arrived at the gardens, hiding behind a shrub. There, Hades’ love was rolling around in the fields with her companions. Hades fixated your eyes her, so childlike and gorgeous.
Poseidon, wow ,remarkable person, as well as every other God. But Poseidon stood out for me. Poseidon was the god of sea, earthquakes and horses. He had the power to control water, in all different sorts like the ocean, rivers, dams and lakes. He was known for his bad temper and was greatly feared because of his ability to cause earthquakes.

The ancient Greek god Hades, also known as Pluton, was the god of the underworld and of wealth. Hades was described as being stern, unpitying and unmoved by prayer but not really evil. He was mainly interested in increasing the number of people in his kingdom of the dead. He always wanted to be by himself and hardly left the Underworld. His only companions were his wife and his three-headed dog.

but then he grabbed ahold of me and dragged me into his Chariot and into the underworld. The underworld is filled with people who have done bad things while they were alive on earth.
