How does gambling affect society?
Gambling, is a big word and can mean many things. In this paper I will refer to gambling by using the definition from the free dictionary (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company, 2016), Gambling: The activity of playing a game for stakes or betting on an uncertain outcome. Gambling still is a massive word because what kind of gambling activities are we talking about? Gambling is also very addictive, approximately six and a half million people in America are addicted to gambling and 15 percent of Americans gamble at least once per week (Frazier, 2015). First of all, there is the difference between online and live gambling. Most live gambling games do also exist online. Everyone probably knows the casino which is also the place where you can find most gambling games.
