The author wrote in critical tone for the Americans who are breaking the minor laws. The author’s argument is right, people should take the minor laws more seriously because people could lose their lives and make other people life in dangerous too.

The Mayflower Compact addressed this issue perfectly, in stating that laws should be put in place when necessary. This is important because it keeps the nation’s rules simple, orderly, and understandable for the average citizen. Furthermore the Mayflower Compact stated that laws should be made for the general good. In emerging governments this tends to get glossed over. More often than not, individuals struggle to fend against his or her own behalf on a court case when the government has accused a person. When responsibility falls to government, solutions will be their sheer power. Not only does the government have trained individuals, these individuals have their own biases. A man named Abner Snopes is being tried in a small-town court for allegedly burning down his landlord’s barn without any reliable evidence the judge kicks him out of town. The problem that arises in any society that professes human rights is how to resolve problems that arise when rights conflict.
One of the criminal thinking errors is the stance of “uniqueness”. This thinking error occurs when the person in question believes that they are different from everyone else, which leads to a sense of entitlement. Because of their supposed “uniqueness” they believe that the rules don’t apply to them, and they are entitled to have certain rights and actions that others wouldn’t have. A potential problem with this thinking errors is it can lead the person to suspect different treatment within the judicial system.

Chapter 5 of Law in America is describing how a country or a group of people create rules based on their culture, time and place. The author states that people without rules or laws cannot build a country that is a suitable place to live. The law teaches people how to be polite to others, not to kill or steal others’ belongings and not to create a conflict over others’ faith. People are scared of breaking the law because of the punishments that follow. Without a law people are not fearful of the punishments, so they do as they please.
The relationship between the law and society affects everyone and everything. How the law is written and how it is acted upon in society are two different things. It is imperative, therefore, that we as citizens pay attention to and understand the importance of the relationship between the law and society as it affects both our own lives and the lives of those around us. We engage in and witness the power of the law and society everyday. The law is personal, however, the law is also discretionary depending on where you look.

Breaking a small law is considered to be a crime because that person who does break the law is defying the government. Frank trippett, in his excerpt, “A Red Light for Scofflaws” states that all people that break even the smallest of laws are considered lawbreakers. Laws are meant to be followed so that people can live in a civilized community.
Government intervention in private affairs refers to regulatory actions taken by a government in order to affect or interfere with decisions made by individuals. First of all, I agree with the statement that government intervention in private affairs is always undesirable. Firstly, many consider it as an intrusion into personal choice as the government tries to intervene into private affairs. Besides that, people consider it to be a human rights violation. However, there are still positive sides to government intervention and this essay aims to examine whether government intervention in private affairs is always undesirable.

Without trust and obedience, sin can overcome any situation if people allow that to happen. The power that sin is allowed to have can lead to many more difficult situations than originally created. Sin is characterized as a break in a relationship, an infraction of any law, rule, or code, and the corruption of the mind and heart with little to no guilt.
What I will explain to you in this article will, how we are connected with the law and I hope, make you see sense in the importance of our laws in the society we live in. To be against the importance of laws in our society would show one to be ignorant and naïve. I encounter the law on a daily basis when I am driving. I have to follow the speed limit of each road, I have to signal before changing lanes, my vehicle must be in good condition in order to safely drive and I must obey all road signs as they are set in place to ensure the safety of everybody.
