Slip or Trip? I arrived at the Volupides household, where the corpse of Mr. Arthur Volupides was found this morning. He was discovered by his wife Mrs. Queene Volupides. Based on her story she claims that she left her house to go to the country club after she had gotten into an altercation with her spouse. She was there until she left close to one in the morning, followed by her friends, who she had invited back for one more drink. When the friends had arrived Mrs. Volupides had already arrived, and she had claimed that Mr. Volupides was coming down for another drink, when he fell, and hit his head. The coroner concluded that cause of death was from head trauma. When the team and I arrived the victim was found dead on his back as if he had been going up the stairs, and fell backwards, or as if was pulled backwards. The wall by the staircase has two candles, and mirror on it that remain completely undisturbed. Usually when someone falls down the stair you try and grab anything you can, but in this case everything remains calm. As said before the coroner had determined that death was called by blunt force trauma, but no other bruising or scratches on his body. If Mr. Volupides fell down the stairs, the velocity to end his life it should have left other bruising, and incisions, but none were found. When he was found his clothes were also completely undisturbed. His robe …show more content…
Usually when you see your significant other unresponsive on the group you would call the authorities on the spot, and from the coroner’s finding it usually takes about 10 minutes to die from a blow to the head, unless it’s an extreme collision. I believe that Mrs. Volupides’ story is a lie, but there is no way we can tell why she would be lying. We have no evidence to why she would be, or even if she killed her husband. Only speculation. I believe she has a lot to do with this “accident”, but we don’t know much yet to accuse
On September 9th, in Anytown, USA, a mysterious death was discovered when a woman named Anna Garcia was found face down dead in her home. It all started when Anna’s neighbor, Doug noticed how Anna’s dog was constantly barking for two hours straight which was very unusual in the quiet suburban neighborhood. Doug realized this and tried calling Anna multiple times and rang her doorbell but when no one answered, he decided to call the police at 9:45 a.m. The EMT and the police arrived at 9:56am but the door had to be broken down and there was Anna lying face down in the entry of the hallway.
She claims she returned to the victim residence the next morning to ask Smith for his assistance starting her car. When he did not answer, she entered the unlocked residence and found the victim deceased at the bottom of the back steps. There is no indication of forced entry; although, the body was found face up and the lividity on the victim’s face and chest indicate he died face down. The victim died at approximately 12:30 am on June 12, 2012, due to blunt force trauma to the back of the head and a broken neck as result of suspicious
Officers learned that the silver Subaru was the vehicle that struck Agnes. Agnes was concsious and alert when I arrived on scene. I observed a facial laceration in the area of Agnes ' forehead which was actively bleeding and formed a small puddle of blood on the roadway. There was an individual on scene prior to police arrival who placed a rag on Agnes ' head and held pressure on the wound until an ambulance arrived. When Shenandoah Ambulance arrived on scene they assessed Agnes ' injuries.
According to the police officer, the murder was perfectly planned and the suspect did not leave any evidences behind. The officers stated that the weapon the murder used had to be around the house and it must be sharp and a heavy object. The police officer, Jack Noonan said finding the weapons might help them to catch the suspect easily. After a long time of search the doctor said “her husband had been killed by a blow to the head …. back of his head was broken into pieces.”
After it was analyzed it was determined to belong to Anna's shoes. My theory is that Anna is a diabetic and had just come home from a stressful day, she got the paper, throw it on the table went to get some aspirin and something to drink, and had an embolism and caused a blood clot, hit her head tried to get the phone to call 911 but had been too weak and died. That is what i believe is a possibility to the death of Anna Garcia. We will be investigating the death of anna graecea.
He succumbed to the injuries and died 9 days later. The suspect was then held and charged with capital murder. Ten years after
EMS Response to Opiates As I approached the scene I saw two Suffolk County police department sector cars on scene and a first responder. This was a summer evening, you could still feel the humidity lingering in the air. Over the radio, the cops relayed that CPR was in progress. I approached the house, entered using the side entrance.
I disagree with both Fraustino’s murder mystery theory, and Hughes’s argument that it was all a psychotic breakdown. I believe instead that the most convincing evidence can be found in favor of a supernatural explanation for the story. Fraustino spends the beginning of his article examining Hughes’s psychosis interpretation. According to Fraustino, Hughes bases most of his interpretation on the assumptions that Mrs. Drover suffered a severe mental breakdown after the loss
Along the same lines, Hae’s autopsy report showed that she was face down for at least eight hours right after she was
The authorities showed up not long after. The Bodies were discovered on the floor in the front room with head wounds from a blunt force and appear to have been burned in the fireplace. Alexander Smith had three wounds on his head all coming from a weapon that would cause blunt force trauma. The Suffolk County Coroner concluded that two wounds were to the right Auditory Meatus. One wound was along the lambdoidal suture and the hair was driven into the head, and the other was on the Parietal bone, an inch and a half in length.
Routine A disturbance in a Tuesday morning routine was a change of a lifetime: my brief car-ride nap was interrupted by a crash, then, the jarring of the ambulance. It was an unexpected awakening. Sixth grade social studies and spelling tests had to be put aside, as the rest of my day would be filled with the beeps of machines and chatter of scrub-clad trauma nurses. Suddenly, my mind was back in my body - and my first conscious words were my complaints of the uncomfortable neck brace, followed by my request to remove it.
The possibility of Lewis’ death being suicide was also diminished by the autopsy report (Exhibit B: Autopsy Report). This report showed that Lewis’ two wounds: one on the back of his head and one on his chest, were both fatal. He could not have inflicted both wounds
In this case, the victim was found south of where he was initially kidnapped from a few yards away from the road, hidden in the weeds. The pathologist found hemorrhaging on the top of the skull, which was assumed to be from being tossed around in the trunk of Joubert’s car. He also found a total of eleven stab wounds on Eberle’s body. Eight of the stab wounds penetrated the skin, but three of those were less deep. Nine of those eleven stab wounds happened before death.
After the retired detective gave Twyla some information, weeks later his demeanor changed and he said he couldn 't help her anymore. What happened? A young newspaper reporter covered the story of the 40 year vigil held this past July. This reporter seemed very concerned then and had hopes of helping solve this case. Now she will not even return Twyla 's phone messages.
