Luke had C3-PO and R2-D2 to lead him, but he did not want to do what they said. Then he did because his aunt and uncle were killed by Imperial stormtroopers.they had things they were reluctant to do, but they did it anyway
Both have some very special abilities. Gilgamesh was ⅔ god and ⅓ man. Luke had the force to aid him in his journeys. This made them very good fighters,smarter,and very hard to defeat.

What stands out the most similarity is a man’s struggle after going against the gods and the repercussions that they had to face due to their actions. In the epic of Gilgamesh, a man by the name of Utnapishtim tells the main epic’s character, Gilgamesh of his tell of the great flood. Utnapishtim explains to Gilgamesh that the gods plotted to destroy humankind with a great flood. Furthermore, he told Gilgamesh that the god of wisdom, Ea, warned him of the destruction and his need to building an ark.
Throughout history epic tales have been told about heroes attempting to explain various occurrences such as the ones in the Gilgamesh and Beowulf. Gilgamesh and Beowulf compare and contrast in beliefs, their leadership styles, and the journeys they go on. Although both Beowulf and Gilgamesh can be compared to each other, because of their opposing locations and personalities, they are contrasting to each other. Beowulf and Gilgamesh leaderships styles, although very different, do have some similarities. Both Beowulf and Gilgamesh possess great physical strength, and courageousness as leaders of their respective cultures.
