Good afternoon, thank you for giving me the opportunity to address a topic of significant importance in today's sporting socitey, I will be presenting an very light shining presentation on the topic of why transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete in womens sports. For some clarity before I begin to aviod bias, I respect the identities that people choose for themselves and I only intend to consider the biological developments and advantages people have. It is crucial to understand this issue and develop the honesty of fairness for womens sport. Imagine you've dedicated years of your life to perfecting your skills in sports. You've trained day in and day out, pushing your limits to compete at the highest level.

Stamper explains girls have their own story of support or discrimination, success also the debate of girls be allowed to compete on boys’ sports team. First, the writer Title IX explains female athletes are been treated second-class for long enough and should pass of inequalities and biases of girls. The writer also clarifies that girls doing sports make them healthier, physically, and emotionally. Other girls that don’t play sports are less likely to use of drugs. I believe girls have the option to join different sports hey can join wresting, football and they also have their own league of soccer, basketball, and softball. We should not change now we raise our boys, because not every boy is the same way. In many schools they are gender neutral

This pay difference can discourage the girls that want to become professional athletes. Thus, limiting the sports available for women to play and places to play in. Professional female athletes should be paid the same amount as professional male athletes because women should have equal representation and pay as the men, women are just as successful in sports as the men, and the best players are getting paid by foreign leagues to not

For example, if a high school had a boy’s football, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, soccer, tennis, baseball, swimming, and wrestling team to total nine teams, they would have to provide another nine teams for the girls to participate in. However, in sports that are catered strictly to males such as football or baseball, girls might substitute with cheerleading or softball. Then, the boys’ sports teams aren’t intruded and crowded upon, and girls that want to play sports still have other Futhermore, Title IX doesn’t discriminate against male athletes is because it decreases the stereotypes we encounter so often in today’s world. Physical sport has long been considered to be meant only for men, limiting women to other activities that don’t have the same benefits as athletics.

In colleges the amount men and women on sport teams has to be proportional with the amount of men and women at a school because of the Title IX. But there are some sports, like wrestling and other men sports like men's gymnastics or swimming, where there are a lot more men than women are on a team. Which leaves two ways to fix that problem; 1. Get more women on the team, which may require a lot of money 2. Make some of the men leave the team.

According to an article from “azcentral”, titled, “Positive Reasons for Co-Ed Sports,” Kathryn Rateliff Barr says that,”Some small schools and communities have learned that offering coed teams allows more players to play for a smaller total cost.” This shows that if coaches may combine both male and female professional sports, the complete value of what is used for all athletics would decrease. This is important because what is left from being used on teams can be spent on accessing better equipment and outfits for future activities. In addition, according to the author of “azcentral’s”, “Positive Reasons for Coed Sports,” Kathryn Rateliff Barr states, “Coed teams can mean smaller coaching staffs than what would be needed for separate, sexually-segregated teams.” It stands to reason that not including coed teams requires more coaches, which would also include more pay and possibly higher pay.

Women have come a long way in the fight for equality – in the 1970s women fought for things like equal pay and equal opportunities in the workplace, yet this is still an issue today. This is even relevant to sport as sportsmen earn more than sportswomen for doing the same job. For years’ gender inequality has plagued professional sports, with people suggesting women’s sport is of a lower quality and women will never be as good as their male counterparts. To most kids and students, competitive sports are a gateway to blow off some steam or to have fun. To parents, the sports that their children play and the lessons that they teach are an important part of their development and life. Despite what many ‘experts’ would like you to believe, both of these statements are completely true. I believe that kids should be allowed to play competitive sports due to the health benefits, the lessons that they can teach, and as a result of the advanced equipment and rules that are focused on making sports safe, as well as the fact that sports can keep kids out of trouble. One extremely important reason that forces me to take the position that kids should be allowed to compete in competitive sports is the health benefits that children who play sports recieve.

Sports should not be based on whether you are more interested in girls or guys sports; it should be based on which sport brings in more revenue and has the most participation

There has long been the debate for whether kids should be allowed to participate in competitive sports. Most people against say that sports make kids get severely injured, which is true, but only if the kid is unprotected and not in a safe environment, which is not the case with sports these days. In fact, sports promote more of a healthy lifestyle. Sports also promote life skills and help kids later in life Sports should be for all ages and kids. The first reason kids should have competitive sports is that sports promote life skills at young ages.

Gender Inequality in sports is an issue as old as sport itself. I choose this topic because we as a society seem to sweep it under the rug time after time. Women in sports however, try to address the issue only to have it go on deaf ears, leaving them to continue in the sport hoping something will change. Over the last few decades, strides have been made, but he sport remains an institution dominated by men. These women, whether they are in sport or in the business world, want a fair chance to be on the same level as their male counterparts.

There's still discrimination because men love to show off how big they are or how much they can lift, making women feel like they are not good enough to be on the team. Even though women's sports have grown over the past decades, women’s sporting events have not grown more popular, media coverage of female athletes is not up to date. Three decades later they finally realize that women sporting channels are harder to find, and the presens on female athletes on tv are low, lower than they were back in the day. LA local networks affiliates dedicated about five percent of their coverage to women's sports in 1989, in 2014 the percentage had dropped 3.2 percent and because they took more time to focus on the women sports it was better then than it is now. Even though the participation of girl sports has increased, the commercials and highlight shows have made the girls look weak and the people interested in wanting to come and watch them play.
