Jeffrey Dahmer is a criminal accused of murder and sexual assault in the later years of the 1900s. Dahmer is suspected of murdering nearly twenty people throughout his course. African Americans consisted of the majority of Dahmers victims. Following the death of his victims, Dahmer would often document the bodies through photography. He would also cut up the bodies of the victims, and keep certain parts of the bodies.

Jeffrey Dahmer’s Motivation to Murder Jeffrey Dahmer is a well known serial killer, he killed nearly 17 men and boys in Milwaukee and Ohio. He was known as the Milwaukee Cannibal for he committed rape, murder, and dismemberment of his victims. It’s seemed to believed he was antisocial and had many other mental illnesses. He also had a troubled youth with a bad home life. Dahmer was arrested and convicted for the violent crimes he commited.

Jeffrey Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was known to be an energetic happy little boy until the age of 4 when he had to have surgery to correct a double hernia. People began to notice a change in Dahmer and he became increasingly withdrawn following the birth of his younger brother. His childhood was relatively normal, but as he got older he began to show no interest in hobbies or social interactions. His family frequently moved and his parents divorced when he was in his early teens.

Ted Bundy was a notorious serial murderer who’s reign of terror lasted from 1974 to 1978. Bundy was convicted of three homicides and was sentenced to death for all three charges. However, at the time of his execution, Bundy confessed to 30 murders however the exact number of victims is still unknown. Bundy’s crimes evolved over time but he was both a sexual sadist and a necrophiliac serial killer. At the beginning of his rampage, Bundy would sneak into the victims house in the middle of the night, violently attack them while they were sleeping with a blunt object and then Bundy would usually sexually assault them.

Jeffrey would drill holes in the skulls of his victims and put hydrochloric acid or boiling water into their brains, which would stink up his apartment and he started getting complaints of bad smells and lots of loud noises from falling objects (“Jeffrey Dahmer-2”). On the day of Jeffrey’s arrest he got a man named Tacy Edwards to come into his home, Jeffrey then forced him into the bedroom with a butcher knife, Edwards got free and ran down the street and got a cop car's attention, when Edwards showed the cops Jeffreys bedroom the cops found pictures of the victims and human remains in the refrigerator. A total of seven skulls were found in his apartment and a human heart in the freezer (“Jeffrey Dahmer-2”). On January 30, 1992 the trial began he was charged with 17 murder charges his says “he doesn’t plead guilty for reason of insanity”, but the court declared him sane and guilty of 15 counts of murder.
