Throughout the plays of Shakespeare, there are always character flaws within the main protagonist specifically in this play Romeo. In the beginning of the play we are introduced to Romeo as a love-struck boy but this is one of his flaws "Alas that love, whose view is muffled still, Should, without eyes, see pathways to his will (1.1.165-166)" this shows that Romeo is in love with ‘Rosaline' but as it is Romeo is in love with attraction, not real love because they are two separate forms.
