Much like in Romeo and Juliet, an arranged marriage can be seen when Lord Capulet decides that Juliet should marry Count Paris regardless of the fact that she doesn’t like him and is already married to her one and only true love Romeo. Most of the time the father is seen choosing for his daughter. This is still seen today in some cultures where the young girl is forced to be married to a person she has never met.
