Florence Kelly was a United States social worker and reformed who fought successfully for child labor laws and improved conditions. She couldn’t believe how some states were allowing children to work for as many hours as they did. She gave a speech to the NAWSA or the National American Woman Suffrage Association on how it has gotten too far with child labor.
