. Here is where I come in; graduating in 1998 from the title of a Medical Assistant II to State Certified, nurse and HHA nurse of 19 years. I have had the chance to operate multiple machines from the EKG heart monitor on down to the blood pressure cuff. However, people have been using devices in their homes for many years’ due to disorder like cardiovascular, respiratory, oral, gastrointestinal, and amputee’s have the independent security of using devices in their home.

In the film, the administrator encourages the staff to approach residents as if they were family. Is this different from approaching residents as a professional? If so, how? How does care change when caregivers know the values, accomplishments and experiences of the people in their care?

Dr. Sharon My responsibilities as a Medical Assistant include, but are not limited to, answering phone calls, organizing medical documents and equipment, logging patient history and insurance information, assisting the Doctor in daily activities, displaying Patient X- Rays/MRI results to on duty MD, and maintaining medical supplies. 
 Working for Dr. Sharon has enabled me to further develop my passion to pursue a degree in medicine. Dr. Sharon has set a great example on what it really means to be an exceptional doctor. The way he cares and treats his patients is admirable.

Today’s lecture on the physician assistants (PA) was very informative. Mrs. Hughes spoke on what a physician assistant is, what they do as well as what the requirements are for those who chose the career path. PA’s are individuals whom practice medicine while also being under the supervision of medical doctors or physicians. They can work in all areas of medicine including emergency medicine, surgery and psychiatry which Mrs. Hughes works under. Within this occupation individuals have the ability to prescribe medicine, diagnose and treat mental illnesses, give immunizations as well as perform various other tasks.

Why do you want to be a Resident Assistant again next year? I want to be a RA next year again to keep improving the lives of students on campus through building community, planning programs, and being available to residents. First I want to build community by making everyone in my house feel welcome and appreciated. Welcoming starts on move in day and continues throughout the year with conversations and having an open.

This letter is to describe Emma Schilling and her qualifications as an RA; however, as a current RA, there are so many different factors that make someone an incredible RA. It is a job where the person either is ready for or he or she will be a train wreck at it. Maturity and inclusivity are key components of the job. Not to mention, the person has to like what they are doing or else the job won’t be worth it. Emma is not only mature enough to handle the job, but is inclusive and personable enough that this job will be an amazing fit for her.

As an intern at Preferred Family Healthcare, I am working with individuals in the Residential Care Facility (RCF). I am working with these individuals who 's goal it is to move out of a residential setting into their own apartment. One of the groups I have been facilitating is comprised of three men. These men range in age from early twenties to fifties, but all have the same goal of wanting to move out on their own. Preferred Family Healthcare RCF staff meets weekly to discuss and identify the needs and concerns of these individuals.

“It 's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.” Those wise words come from the one and only, Mother Teresa. Her quote comes to mind when I think of the career Certified Nursing Assistant. Another is “It takes a special person to do what you do, I don 't know if I could handle it”.

Please accept my resume to showcase my interest in the position of Resident Assistant. I believe that I am an excellent candidate due to my leadership ability, my academic achievement, and my overall attitude. I am a firm believer in academia being the top priority while in college and I have proven this attitude through my performance over the past semester. As a Political Science and International Business double major at Monmouth College, who is on the Pre-Law track, I aspire to work in politics one day as a Political Campaign Manager. My academic attitude, I believe, is important for a Resident Assistant to hold because as a RA, one should be a role model for the other members of the hall.

If I was to become an RA, I would like to build connections with both my residents and my fellow Resident Assistants by holding events and working to build a diverse, caring community. I think connection can have a big effect on the RA staff as connection leads to better teamwork and collaboration, meaning the RA staff would work together more cohesively and thus make the experience of the residents more enjoyable. Building connections with and between your residents can have a very positive effect, as not only will they have a support system in place, they will also have a safe place to find friends, learn about differences among people, and find their place within the Geneseo community. During my placement at The George Hull Centre, I would invest time to improve my knowledge for my learning goal of health promoting positive discipline. Positive discipline is a topic that has not been discussed yet in the nursing program. This is a very important topic to discuss as discipline effects a child’s mental well-being. As well, it is essential to understand this topic as it impacts the social determinant of health, healthy child development. During the creation of my presentation, I would seek feedback from my preceptor in a timely manner to determine whether I needed to change any terminology or include any additional information.

During my course with NSCC, where I am studying to become a Continuing Care Assistant. Each student is required to work in a continuing care facility alongside other health care providers for a month. I attended skills development placement at Harbour View Lodge located in Sheet Harbour. This placement has given me the opportunity to apply my knowledge, and skills that I have studied and practiced in the classroom. When entering the facility the first week I felt nervous and excited at the same time.

My individual standards and beliefs impact reliably my involvement to work in the health as well as social care background. For my individual input to the care of individuals undergoing significant life occasions, I would give prominence to the circumstance that I still believe to mark a perhaps superior involvement since I have an inadequate knowledge so far. Nonetheless, I have continuously been anxious with the acceptable completion of my proficient responsibilities as well as the operational assistance and help being delivered to individuals suffering challenging and substantial life’ occasions. Moreover, my work in the health and social care environment was a significant affair for me since it added to my professional as well as personal advancement. This clinical experience has really helped me to sharpen my communication skills and realize just how important it is to understand mental health. We are told multiple times in class that mental health issues can be seen on any floor and that is the truth. I’ve seen patients in my older adult clinical on the pulmonary floor suffer from issues that range from anxiety to bipolar disorder and depression. Being able to understand how to approach people that suffer from these types of illnesses, allows us, the nurses, to give the patient the best care that we can. It helps to build a trusting relationship and get to know them on a personal level.
