Week Four Devotional
Luke 10:27
God’s command is for us to love Him with our total being. This cannot be accomplished on our own. Apart from God, it is impossible to love Him. One must know God for who He is. Apostle John makes it clear that one must be born again (1Joh 5:1). To know God is to know Him as Father as it is written in 1Joh 3:1 and Joh 1:12. We are His children and as His children, we receive special privileges and rights to be called the Sons of God. It is by His power and from His love that we were adopted into His family. It is by God’s love that we were drawn to Him. It is God’s love that keeps us and nothing can separate us from it. God first loved us and demonstrated it when He gave His best for us. God the Father
1. Create an applied research project. a. Identify what type of applied analysis you would be conducting (process evaluation, outcome evaluation, needs assessment, or combination of any of these). This is a needs assessment analysis that targeted an old model of issuing identification cards to abuse victims trying to leave their abuser, which was problematic because of the time it took to issue the cards and the methods it employed requiring the victims to prove who they are. This assessment, evaluation of an old government model was to determine if the new model was more effective than the old model for this particular program and if the officials tasked with issuing new and or replacement identification to the women and their families
Loyalty, it’s the second level to love. You’re proving your love for someone by standing up for them no matter what. We need to make sure there’s no one in our life who does so much for our smile and safety, and we return absolutely nothing. Imagine all the people in the world not talking to you one day, you’ll then realize the value of all, and every person, and will be very thankful for what you have. Is there anyone who’s loyal to YOU?
”(Carton 146) To sacrifice or devote yourself to someone out of love is an incredible display of admiration. To do anything for someone that they love is an act of undying devotion, there is no greater act that could be done. With this in mind, it states in the bible "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one 's life for one 's friends.”(John 15:13)
The affective preparation process and the interpersonal skills I would want to improve. Regarding the affective preparation process I would like to improve my proactive behaviors as well as my critical thinking. For myself I know that I personally need to start early on a project and do a bit at a time in order for me to be successful. This would require me to push myself to be more proactive with starting the preparation process. I also feel that I could improve my critical thinking skills when creating the analysis as well as writing the proposal.
One great display of love is shown when Moses intercedes to God on behalf of his people after they committed the great sin of idolatry in worshipping the golden calf. Because of his prayer to God for the Israelites, God held back His divine wrath and extended His divine mercy. We see countless times throughout the life of Moses where his love was tested by the murmurings, complaints, and sins of the Israelites who were often ungrateful for the many provisions of God. However, Moses proved his love for them by choosing not to abandon them in difficult, discouraging, and trying times but rather choosing to love them and lead them even when they were ungrateful and
“You cannot love a fellow-creature fully till you love God. ”(Lewis 91) Love for God must come before and above all other love. In order to love others fully you must first love God. Once you love God with all your heart, your heart is rebuilt with the space for all love.
“God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). People were give the gift of God “through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation” (Romans
John Chapter 3 Commentary In John chapter 3 Jesus teaches Nicodemus and John the Baptist gives a testimony about Jesus. I learn from this chapter that John the Baptist was a selfless follower of Christ. Nicodemus wasn’t like the other Pharisees. Both Jesus and John the Baptist say all you have to do have eternal life is to believe in Jesus.
Darin Goodman Mr. Mancini Bible Living out Luke 19:1-10 Throughout the gospels we are given thorough examples of how Jesus portrays authority, kindness, grace, mercy, compassion, and every other form of good. The parable of Zacchaeus is found Luke chapter 19 verses 1-10 and in it readers learn of the fullness of Jesus’ forgiveness. When we ask for forgiveness, forgiveness is given. When we reach our hands out to God, he will enter our hearts with love.
The Gospel of John positions love as the building block for what sets everything in motion. According to this gospel, love is resembled as the quintessence of God, and those who love Jesus will reap the benefits. Plans and agendas, don't work out well for those who do not love Jesus. God's most important gift to mankind is His love through Jesus Christ. This is a message that the world needs to hear and that witnesses must proclaim.
Jesus cuts to the quick. “Except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). The Greek word is deliberately ambiguous, meaning either “from above” or “again.” Nicodemus understood the statement to mean a new birth. Jews understand that repetition of a word denotes its absolute meaning.
Above is bible verse about Love. Love is a word that many have attempted to define. For instance, Dictionary.com defines Love as “a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person or a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.” As humans, we all have an intense desire to be loved and nurtured by another. It is believed that the secret to a happy life is when we know that we are loved.
Only some are given the right to be called sons of God o Those who believe o Those who trust in Jesus o Those who repent and turn from their sins o Those God has justified And they come because of Jesus who is now the Great High Preist He is our advocate with the Father He is the mediator between God and man • Its only through his broken body and spilled blood that we come to the Father • Think of what you heard this morning as Michael showed us the 7 churchs in Revelation 2-3 o I will vomit you out of my mouth o I will remove your
Ephesians 1:5-6 says, “He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” Paul describes God’s relationship with us with these words; love-redemption, forgiveness, wisdom, validating, chosen plan, and purpose. These very words have meant so much to me. I have learned that love is tangible, real, and vibrant and I experience it every day.
Even though His faith always remained with the Lord there was still a process that needed to be shown to us. A process to explain how powerful and how important God’s relationship to humanity is to the
