Have you ever wondered what kind of characteristics your president should have to be successful in the United States? Presidential elections generate a massive responsibility for the voters. Because the public is responsible for choosing whom they want, but to decide who is the right one, it goes to choosing the person with the right stuff. I think a president needs to be brave and make smart decisions before he does any action. I also think he should have experience if he wants to make a big decision. Also, he should be very committed to whatever decisions he makes.
When you are in a country that has enemies you need a brave leader who will stand up for and not back down. For example, if an enemy were trying to bomb the U.S. we need someone who fights them and protect the people in the U.S., not someone who will run back and get many hurts. When you stand up for your country, you will make your people proud and then they will soon be on your side and not against you. Not only that, when a person threatens to hurt us the president should be brave and comfort the people.

The power of persuasion is one of the most important characteristics to obtain, the president must be able to bargain with others who share power with him/her. This isn’t done with a withy or charming personality, the president must persuade by showing other politicians how can his interests can benefit theirs. Secondly, professional reputation is a factor that show how much people can believe in you. Commencing out of these 15 presidents, I felt 6 were inadequate for me to include, thus I chose to eliminate them. William Henry Harrison, Harrison died 1 month into office after he caught a cold.
