A dogs temperament is indicative of their owner and the care and training they are given. Pit bulls used to be considered the perfect nanny dogs, they are extremely friendly even with strangers because of that nature they were not considered to be good guard dogs.

Pit bulls scored 83% on their temperament test. That is a higher score than the Golden retrievers, a dog that is considered to be friendly. As shown in the temperament test, pit bulls can be friendly dogs as well. Pit bull owners need to treat their pit bulls nicely.
