SSgt Gallaghan was born on June 13, 1983, in the city of Santa Cruz, California. At an early age, SSgt Gallaghan moved to Colorado Spring, CO where he graduated high school and enlisted in the Marine Corps on 22 February 2002. Pvt Gallaghan completed boot camp on 26 November 2002 at MCRD San Diego, California. Afterwards, he attended Marine Combat Training in January of 2003 and upon completion was shipped to NAS Pensacola to start his MOS training. While at NAS Pensacola, PFC Gallaghan completed his studies earning him the 6311 preliminary MOS. PFC Gallaghan then reported to NAMTRAMARU, New River, NC where he attended 6322 MOS School. LCpl Gallaghan graduated NAMTRAMARU on 30 October 2003 as a CH-46 Avionics Technician.
LCpl Gallaghan’s first duty assignment was aboard MCB Camp Pendleton, attached to HMM-268. While serving with HMM-268 from November 2003 to December 2006, LCpl Gallaghan served on two deployments to Al Taqqadum, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). During his time at HMM-268, LCpl Gallaghan was promoted to Corporal and became qualified as an Avionics Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI).

While attached to HMM(T)-164, he was promoted to Sergeant and attained the qualification of Avionics Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR). In July of 2008, Sgt Gallaghan executed TAD orders to Sergeants Course aboard Camp Pendleton. During his tenure at Sergeants course, he executed orders back to HMM-268. Sgt Gallaghan graduated Sergeants course second in his class on 26 August

The patrol was ambushed by the Axis enemy. He turned back the attack by the Germans and even managed to capture several enemy prisoners. For this he received a promotion and became Sergeant Murphy on December 13th. Audie was only 18 at this time.
General Roscoe Robinson Born October 11, 1928 in St. Louis, MO to Roscoe Sr and Lillie Brown. Roscoe Senior was a Steel worker and Lillie was a Homemaker. Roscoe was a graduate of Sumner High School in 1946, where he was the class president. After high school Robinson wanted to join the military but was not old enough to be drafted. Roscoe decided to attend St. Louis University for one year and then from there he attended West Point Military academy in New York.
He worked for 13 years as a firefighter and progressed through the ranks over the years. In 1962 he became an Engineer, by 1965 was a Captain, by 1968 was a Battalion
William B. Sargent was born in 1964 to Donald and Ethlyn Sargent. Bill grew up in Littleton on Pleasant Street where his parents still reside. He attended our great schools here in Littleton and graduated on this stage behind me in 1982. Like some seniors, Bill was unsure of which direction to go. After deciding to go to Arizona for a year, he returned to Littleton, and joined the United States Army, in the delayed entry program where he would then enter for basic training in the fall of 1983.
On January 26, 1880 at the Little Rock Barracks in Arkansas, Douglas Macarthur would be born into the military life. His father, Arthur was a decorated Civil War hero and Army Captain. His mother, Mary was a native of Virginia where her brothers also fought in the Civil War. He had two older brothers, Arthur III who was born on August 1, 1876 and Malcolm who was born on October 17, 1878.
He soon became the commander of he 437th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron. For the Vietnam War, he was stationed in Thailand in 1966 as deputy commander of operations. During his time there, he flew over 70 combat missions into North Vietnam. After that, he was transferred to Libya. Daniel “Chappie” James Jr. will forever be known for overcoming the discrimination that was thrown at him.

September of 1963, he was assigned to take construction mechanic training at the Naval Construction Training Center at Port Hueneme, California.
