Why there is no stop to dog abuse? Why do people continue to beat these animals people ask, There is no answer, no law stating no animal abuse so no stopping it. These poor precious animals have a soul, and feelings to. If these animals continue to be treated this way they will continue to be aggressive towards people.
We don’t care if an innocent animal is mistreated or killed because we have no obligation to be just to them. We however have many laws against abuse and murder in humans. What’s the difference? Do you sign a contract the moment you are born or agree to something to where you say that you won’t murder or abuse innocent people? Do you agree to not murder someone when you first met them?
Everybody in this room, has contributed to Animal Cruelty… Every day in Australia animals are beaten, neglected and are forced to struggle to survive. Left in unsanitary conditions with no food or water, they have little hope as they live out their days without the essential sunlight and room they need and desire. Most of us think of animal cruelty as just ‘deliberately’ being mean to animals, but It’s much more than that… I’m not saying you are beating or starving your dog or cat – ‘animal cruelty’ can be much more subtle… Imagine if these picture is how you lived your life every day until you died.
Alejandra Jimenez Ms. Sickler English 10 January 26, 2018 Animal Cruelty Animal Cruelty, also known as animal abuse, is the deliberate act of violence towards animals. It has been reported that animal abuse can lead to domestic abuse. Animal cruelty is linked to an increase in both violence and crime. Animals used for entertainment and gaming purposes are forced to partake in events and actions.
“The animals of this world exist for their own reasons. They were not made for humans any more than black people were made for whites” - Alice Walker. Some of the animals that you see in zoos are not always born in captivity. They can be taken right out of the wild as well. Although zoos are fun to visit, animals should not be held in captivity because the breed can become overpopulated, they do not know how to survive on their own, and they are being abused.
They also did studies on different families, families that didn’t have domestic abuse in the family and families that did have domestic abuse in the family. In the families that had domestic abuse, they were more likely to have participated in animal abuse rather than the families who have no sign of domestic abuse in the family (Peterson
It’s not their fault that their dogs have a mind of their own and tend to use it more often than we want them to. Most dogs are rebels and can take actions into their own hands, so instead of putting all the punishment on the owners how about we start putting consequences on the dogs as well. Let’s punish the pet and not the
Men can be abusers or victims, but some statistics show that men ages 30 and under are more likely to abuse animals (Animal Cruelty Facts and Stats, n.d.), and that roughly 90% domestic violence is caused by men in heterosexual relationships (Gender Affecting Domestic Violence - Counseling Services, 2016). Women are also capable of animal and domestic abuse, but more women ages 60 and older are more likely to hoard and neglect animals instead of physically abusing them, which is more common for men. Although both genders are capable of being domestically abusive, women are known to be more psychologically abusive (Women More Likely to Be Perpetrators of Abuse as Well as Victims - News - University of Florida, n.d.), while men are known to be more physically abusive (Domestic Abuse Is a Gendered Crime - Women’s Aid, 2021). Because men are more physically abusive, they are more likely to cause serious injury or death to the woman, while women who attack men through emotional manipulation and coercive tactics cause the man to commit suicide (Gender Affecting Domestic Violence - Counseling Services, 2016). When reporting domestic abuse, sexism and misogyny play a factor into reporting the crime because more people will believe that a woman has been abused than a man, and that a woman isn’t capable of abusing a man.
I have always been an animal lover ever since I could remember, especially exotic and out of the ordinary reptiles. Having a pet ball python is the easiest animal to take care of. You may start to think that I am going crazy or something similar to that case but to my defense, I have experienced caring for them for a few years already and know how great of a pet they are. The reactions I get when I take it out in public varies from person to person. When it comes to the food intake or supplies needed to provide its basic care, it is very minimal.
We have all seen those science-fiction movies where aliens come to Earth with the endgame of either exterminating or extracting something from us. Picture this scene from a movie: The extraterrestrials abruptly abduct you and take you to their Mothership. You arrive terrified out of your mind. “This can’t be real, this isn’t happening,” you reason. The door opens, before you can see your captors, you get knocked on the head unconscious.
Animal Cruelty Have you ever wondered how much atrocious animal treatments are occurring around the world? The average number of animal abuse cases reported in the media each year is 1,920 according to a study conducted this year by Statistic Brain Research Institute. Moreover, a lot of animals struggle around the globe because they are often beaten, neglected and hunted, which forces them to fight for survival. Helpless animals continue to be exploited by humans and are still constantly being robbed of their lives. Thus, animal cruelty is the killing, exploiting and neglecting the needs of animals that are causing extinction and nonessential suffering.
Animals are being abused everyday and they are not taken into consideration when you see them being abused. They are suffering and they are being abused everyday and you all need to stop it. Animal cruelty is not something that just goes away the person doing it will keep doing it until someone stops them. Everyone needs to stop animal abuse and if everyone starts to make a difference others will to. Animals need help with this and everyone needs to help them.
Everyday, animals are shocked, poisoned, and killed not only by animal abusers, but also by vivisectors, which are people that perform experiments on animals. Animal testing is cruel, pointless, and completely wrong. If the tests that were performed on animals were performed outside of a factory, the person doing the experiment would be arrested for animal abuse, yet they don't seem to think it is wrong. Animal abuse is a felony, and people are doing it every day with no qualms about torturing animals for their own personal gain. Not only that, but only about 25 new medicines are released each year, which is absolutely nothing compared to the amount of medicines they test and the amount of animals they test upon, and that creates a pointless waste of innocent lives.
So where does the rights of animals come from? Many people do not understand animal rights and how we should treat them equally and why. Through animal research and experiments, humans are getting benefit and gains in the obscene inhumane ways. Animal rights have become a big issue over the years. Not long ago, animal rights activists were dismissed, and covered in the press only for their activities.
The study indicated that of that 52%, 1% was set free. So, about 10,000 animals who thought they were loved, are being set free almost every year because their owner cannot afford to take care of them, an issue related to the pet, family situations, and housing issues. Further into the study, it shows that among the respondents, 12% said they could not afford medical care for their pet. Furthermore, there are many animals being re-homed through mutual friends and families, but it cannot be ignored that 10,000 domesticated animals are being set free each year due to the owners’ inability to care for
