I believe that we should be against animal cruelty because animals have never done anything to us and if they have, it’s because it was how they were raised and treated from when they were little. If we stopped hurting animals and treating them like they don’t deserve to live or be loved then we would have less problems with animal cruelty and less animal attacks. I think people should have more rules and regulations to keep a pet. Such as, they can’t have a past of animal abuse or neglecting of any animals. People shouldn’t have over five pets in their house, or they might hoard and neglect their animals by not feeding them regularly or not giving them enough attention, so they might become mean or scared around people. Puppy mills are overrun with animals because they keep breeding dogs over and over again, and then their dogs will get neglected and not cared for, and soon become …show more content…
Each experiment will either be for chemical, medical, drug, or cosmetic testings. Many of the animals in the testings will be tormented either to death, or on the brink of it. For example, they will be forced to inhale the toxic fumes of what they are testing, have their skin burned off or have it blistered from the harsh chemicals. The animals are confined in small cages and are socially deprived and physically deprived of the kinds of nutrients they need. In conclusion, I believe that animal cruelty is the worst thing anyone could do to a poor animal, not one animal should be treated that way. There are tons of forms of animal abuse, neglect, and testings, and the number of each should become smaller and smaller, but no one has done anything to stop or make animal cruelty come to a halt. Animals should be treated with more respect and love that what some are given, whether it be dog fighting, neglect, or lab experiments, it is not right to treat animals that
As a society there should be a continuation of proceeding to develop new laws. Animals have rights that are not being protected or considered when they are not given the chance to live without suffering or harm. Additionally animal rights are violated when they are used as products for experimentation. Animal experimentations
Puppy mills usually house dogs in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions, without adequate veterinary care, food, water and socialization.
One of these global crises is animal cruelty, which is very dangerous to animals. Animal cruelty affects wildlife and can cause devastating effects on the food chain and food supply. Although animal cruelty benefits people, it is unethical towards the animal hurt in the process and should be stopped. First
Currently people are treating animals with disrespect by abusing , eating , and slaughtering them. In his article “ A Change of about Animals,” Rifkin points out that “ they feel pain , suffer , and experience stress , affection , excitement and even love--- and these findings are changing how we view animals.” In the article “ A Change of Heart about animals,” Rifkin points out that “ they feel pain , suffer , and experience stress , affection , excitement and even love--- and these findings are changing how we view
I believe that all animals should be treated but not as equal as humans. I think that animals need to have The Animal Bill of Rights because it can stop animal abuse, unnecessary animal experiments, and the death of many innocent creatures but animals can not have an equal rights as humans have. We can not ignore human suffering and focus only on animals rights. On the one hand I understand that passing the Animal Bill of Rights, while it is true that it could limit the amount of animal abuse. In Rifkin’s article “A Change of Heart about Animals” he states, “Studies on pigs’ social behavior funded by McDonald's at Purdue University, for example, have found that they crave affection and are easily depressed if isolated or denied playtime with each other.
Ultimately, as by now you may now, animal cruelty is a gargantuan problem in our society today. If our society doesn 't take care of the world we live in and the animals that help it thrive and prosper, we are not going to last very long. We need to cherish the minuscule things and make sure we respect every aspect of it. Animal cruelty does not need to occur nor does it serve any purpose in creating a balanced society. This abuse and cruelty leaves its mark not only physically but emotionally, short-term, as well as long-term.
Introduction “My mission is to rescue. My dream is that one day, I won’t have to.” -Tia Torres There are many more animals that are out there, in the world without a home. You could help with dogs and cats from getting abandoned.
“The animals of this world exist for their own reasons. They were not made for humans any more than black people were made for whites” - Alice Walker. Some of the animals that you see in zoos are not always born in captivity. They can be taken right out of the wild as well. Although zoos are fun to visit, animals should not be held in captivity because the breed can become overpopulated, they do not know how to survive on their own, and they are being abused.
Captive animals are deprived of everything that is natural and important to them. Bull riding has become a very famous activity. The riders are not only taking the animal out of its normal surroundings but also putting them in much physical danger. Circus animals will never receive the same experience as they would in the wild. It should be illegal to use animals for sports and entertainment because many times it is cruel to the animals.
Animal Cruelty Have you ever wondered how much atrocious animal treatments are occurring around the world? The average number of animal abuse cases reported in the media each year is 1,920 according to a study conducted this year by Statistic Brain Research Institute. Moreover, a lot of animals struggle around the globe because they are often beaten, neglected and hunted, which forces them to fight for survival. Helpless animals continue to be exploited by humans and are still constantly being robbed of their lives. Thus, animal cruelty is the killing, exploiting and neglecting the needs of animals that are causing extinction and nonessential suffering.
Is the use of animals to test new products and/or medications essential? While some would answer yes, the majority opposes it. In one survey, which asked whether or not cosmetics should be tested on animals, the mass sixty-seven percent answered no. Why? Animal testing is inhumane, cruel, and actually provides insignificant results. Animals are not humans.
Rights are against the use of force and they are our primary if not only our means of survival. There is only one fundamental right: To live successfully, a man has to make his own choices as well as animals too (Roleff,2014,p.33). There is a huge difference between giving animals their rights which is less than human beings and not to give them rights at all. Nowadays animals are presented in many places of entertainment such as zoos and cruces as well as aquariums where the audients pay a lot of cash to watch fun and exciting things going on, it sure makes us happy but what about the animals are they happy too? Are places of entertainment appropriate for wild animals to live in it normally?
A lot of people heard the term of animal testing somewhere in their life, but they are not sure what exactly that means. It means animal are expose to drugs, where scientists find out how helpful that medication or cosmetic going to be for human body. Many organization use animal testing in their medical research. A lot of cosmetic and drugs are testing on animal before those medication even make it to market. Every time you buy any eye drops or lips products some people try to look at if those are safe to use.
Animals are being abused everyday and they are not taken into consideration when you see them being abused. They are suffering and they are being abused everyday and you all need to stop it. Animal cruelty is not something that just goes away the person doing it will keep doing it until someone stops them. Everyone needs to stop animal abuse and if everyone starts to make a difference others will to. Animals need help with this and everyone needs to help them.
Animal testing is the experimentation on animals such as mice, lizards, monkeys, etc. to assess the effectiveness of various medications and cosmetics. Scientist tests various medications and experiment on animals to better understand how the human body works, and to find a solution to different diseases that are killing people. While many scientists and doctors believe this is necessary, many people oppose this practice as they believe it is animal torture. The US National Academy of Sciences released a report in 2007 about a future without the need of experimentation of animals.
