Ideal people do not exist and this statement is essential to recognize. Probably, every person has particular professional or personal weaknesses that prevent the development and implementation of personality and life goals. However, wise people are ready to recognize their weak features so there is the possibility to conquer them. Those who ignore weaknesses keep repeating mistakes while leading the unfulfilled lives. Therefore, the key goal of self-improvement is the evaluation of personal weakness. The statement of the fallibilities of an individual would help to withdraw them or to alter them into strengths, which would benefit the quality of life of an individual. Problem Statement A significant option to overcome the weakness is to find a new way to treat it. Personal weakness is not a diagnosis, which is immutable, and there is no reason to hate the personal self. Even the strongest people have their weak possessions, but the knowledge of how to hide them gives no possibility for society to take advantage of them. Modern society condemns weak personal features wanting to establish an ideal strong community. Therefore, the fight with weak features has turned into the primary task for every representative of the outer world. However, the nature of weakness is not those to shame, but those to develop. People just attack the weaknesses, when analyzing what they would like to change or improve in personal character. The society influences the domination of the view that
“My attitude is if you push me towards something you think is a weakness, then I will turn that perceived weakness into a strength” Michael Jordan. Knowing your weakness and strength is an important thing in life. It can help you succeed by knowing the things you need to improve. In writing, my strengths are in the content of my papers and the conventions.
Henroedipus Knowing one’s strengths and abilities helps people every day to face life’s challenges, whether choosing a career or tackling a home repair project. People constantly learn about themselves, and this knowledge helps people to succeed in everyday life. This concept of understanding oneself is not new; rather, the concept has survived since ancient society. According to the ancient Greeks, “knowing thyself” was an integral part of happiness and success. Both Oedipus from Oedipus Rex and Henry from The Red Badge of Courage face challenges because of not “knowing thyself”; even though the two characters share this burden, their dilemmas vary in essence.
After knowing what my weaknesses are, I usually try to solve them and improve my skills. For example, I’m not a highly flexible and positive person, so I seek out to individuals who are flexible and positive in their lives and ask for their advice. Another strength that I have is that I usually have a positive outlook of my improvement, because I have seen examples of those who overcome their hardships and become successful in life, so I believe that if I try hard enough, I will be able to overcome my weaknesses. I’m also confident with my listening skills and my ability to focus on others and make them feel heard. I like to start on works and projects early so that if anything comes up, I will still have time to handle it.
These characteristics may be good or bad, but individuals can learn from them and overcome the
Individuals within society are influenced by the socio-economic factors of the society which they inhabit. This essay will discuss Sociological imagination which was first mentioned by author C.W. Mills who wrote a book with the same title. The personal problem that will be discussed is childhood trauma, because it is broad this essay will focus more on depression and how it effects society on a larger scale. Lastly this essay will then show the advantages of using Social Imagination in our everyday life’s and how we can use it to the benefit of society on a wider scale. Social Imagination is the concept of being able to differentiate a personal problem from a problem that is affecting a wider society on a much larger scale.
1.1 Introduction In today’s environment, the ownership is on us, as an individual to take responsibility for our own development, rather than expecting our organization to do it for us. The question, which always ponders over mind is does my personal skills suits to today’s dynamic world? If not, how do I move forward? Hence, the starting point is to introspect, retrospect and do an evaluation through self-assessment tools in order to know myself, strengths and limitations and my ability to perform in dynamic roles in the business environment.
As a college freshmen, there is no doubt that I still have a long ways to go in order to achieve my academic goals. And through this journey, I know that I will encounter highs and lows just as I experienced in the past, most notability in high school. I keenly remember instances around this time where I doubted my abilities when subjects like math was proving to be difficult, even when I was trying to put in effort to stay on track. I was struggling in math because I did not try to identify my weaknesses, and never tried to come up with solutions to fix my problems. Rather, I chose to give up on math and settle with a grade barely passing.
ISFJ I am an ISFJ, but I have some strengths and weakness. I am a person that likes to share my information and experience of my work. I like to be careful about what I do and what might be done wrong. I am a person that hears what others are talking about and feel their emotions. I support others when the goal is on track I come in to help out.
What is one weakness you have? A weakness that I have is that I can be too empathetic with people. I am an emotional person, especially with certain subjects. But that could be helpful when I am talking with customers, that I will be able to relate to them, and what they are trying to say.

This semester, I am enrolled in Professional Media Writing, and my goals are to grow in my ability to clearly describe a scenario, as well as expand my vocabulary. Although I have written many papers in my academic career, I struggle with revising my writing. In general, I think that the voice and clarity in my text is fair, but I lack descriptions. Through this class I hope to identify points of strength and weakness in my writing. At Northwest, I am a student leader for a campus ministry called the Navigators.
As discussed in Singh (2005), through the centuries personality has been regarded as a practical force in determining success or failure in life. If the person has some socially undesirable traits, he inherited them from his parents. The implication is that neither training nor desire to improve will be of any avail. The implication is that since the physical traits are inherited and thus not subject to change, the personality traits that accompany them are similarly implacable to change (p.122). Scientific psychology emerged after philosophical psychology and new experimental life sciences or better to say experimental psychology joined each other.
There are many different traits that people possess that make them individuals, for me, the most important or prominent trait would probably be my need to always have things planned out in advance and as well as possible. I gained this trait mainly through elementary school, I was very unorganized throughout most of it and even though I wanted to be getting good grades, I was always losing and forgetting about my homework. Over time I think I just started to sort of overcompensate by being much more organized that I need to be. While it can sometimes be hard to plan out everything as much as I would like, it has been very helpful for me in the past with school work and all of my jobs I’ve had for me to be pretty good at organization and time
The root of all of my weaknesses is that I always want to be perfect. To overcome these weaknesses I always try to keep in my mind that I have to
As one can see there are five areas in this chart. The largest and perhaps also most important fields in this chart are that one understands himself and the environment. It has already been mentioned in the paragraph above that one may first need to understand himself before being able to grow in any direction (Proctor 1984). In this Bachelor Paper the main focus is on personal success characteristics and how these traits can be trained. Internal traits determine the way how one behaves, talks and acts.
