Personal Narrative: The Day I Put In My Ear

I woke up at around nine and put on clothes. I walked into the bathroom and saw that I looked like a clown. I had taken a shower the night before and my hair was still wet when I fell asleep, so my hair was sticking up in every direction. I straightened my hair and waited for Amy and Lori to arrive at our house. They finally showed up and we drove to Wichita. We finally showed up at a place called Boba Zone. We got out of the car to get some Boba tea but we saw that Boba Zone wasn’t open until 11:00 a.m. It was around 10:50 so we had a little time before it opened. “Alright I’m gonna ask you to lay down,” Jordan said. I laid down on the bed thing, and turned my head so he could see my ear. “Ok. Take a deep breath in.” I took a deep breath. “Now exhale.” As I exhaled Jordan shoved the needle through my ear. It wasn’t that bad. Getting the jewelry put in my ear was a different story. It ended up hurting much more than getting the needle shoved through my ear did. The second ear, however, was the complete opposite. It hurt more getting the needle shoved through my ear than getting the jewelry put in. I slowly sat up and got down from the stool. My legs felt like jello. I was a little shaky and my ears hurt like hell. Even though it did hurt really bad, I was really glad that I had finally gotten it done. I asked my mom if I could have a little Advil and she said yes. So I took some Advil from Lori and after a while it started to kick in. My ears were still throbbing, but it didn’t hurt as much. Amy went after I did and then after Amy, was Lori. When we were all done, we walked out of the room and it was a lot more crowded than when we first showed up.
