BEAVER DAMS (WENY) - With not even $10 in the bank, the members at the Full Gospel Church Caitlin, in Beaver Dams, took it upon themselves to build a new parsonage. For the past eleven years Reverend Patrick Neyman, his wife Petrice and four-year-old Patrick, of the Full Gospel Church Caitlin, in Beaver Dams, have been living in not the most ideal situation. Bill Carson, a church member decsribes the current parsonage as and old 1960's double wide trailer with two inch walls. So for the past few years the 40 member church has been wanting to build a new the Neymans a new home."We didn't have any money in the bank but the lord said go. So when he says go we go," says Carson. In June, ground broke on a two bedroom ranch style home just a hundred yards away from the church. All with the help of only a handful of volunteers and strictly financed through donations. Reverend Neyman says besides hiring a crew to lay down the basement floor and put shingles on the roof, all the labor had been done by 12-15 volunteers. He says one of the big blessings the project has seen was when a stranger mailed in a $25,000 check. "Every gift whether big or small, whether it's $25,000 or $25 it just shows that people love you and shows that people care about what you're doing here," says Reverend Nayman. …show more content…

"Four years ago we were blessed with this little guy and he's actually in the coldest room in the house. We've insulated it and keep a heater in it, we heat with a wood stove and do the best we can, but it means a lot as a mom to know that he's going to be in a nice warm house," says Petrice.
