Had the president ordered a root and branch search of information government agencies had on potential strikes by Al-Qaeda in the US, what was known about Moussaoui and the Arizona flight school would have been of great interest. Perhaps they would have also unearthed an intelligence memo written in 1998 that said, “We also learned that the agencies had uncovered a message between al Qaeda operatives in the United States, dated December 1998, that read, “Plans to hijack U.S. aircraft proceeding well. Two individuals have successfully evaded checkpoints in dry run at NY airport.” Or maybe another memo would have been found that stated, “CIA and the FBI are investigating a call to our embassy in the UAE in May saying that a group of bin Laden supporters was in the U.S. planning attacks with explosives. ””(Drew)

People claim that his body was not dumped into the ocean, and is hidden somewhere. It is more likely that Osama bin Laden is indeed dead. Hypothesis 1: Osama bin Laden really never died and he is still alive.

Modernity and Islam remained incompatible since modernity represented a loss of traditional ethics, straying away from the Quran’s teachings. Extremists interpreted the Quran’s teachings literally, strengthening their conservative ideologies and anti-Americanism. Similarly, Osama bin Laden went as far as “declaring war on the United States from a cave in Afghanistan” (Wright 235). Austin King Ms. Den Otter A.P. English Language and Composition President Obama Speech Analysis On the morning of September 11th, terrorists hijacked 4 planes, 2 of which were crashed into the World Trade Center Buildings, another hit the Pentagon, and one was crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. This tragic morning in American history caused the death of almost 3000 people, and the leader of Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, was behind it. After planning a mission for around 4 years to execute Osama bin Laden, on May 2, 2011, he was killed by US special forces. President Obama follows this event with a speech, its goal being to inform the American people of the death of the man who had caused the death of so many loved ones, and achieves this by using rhetorical devices such as parallel structure and appeals to emotion. In the beginning of President Obama’s speech announcing the death of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, he reminds the American people of the tragic events that took place on the morning of 9/11, when “nearly 3,000 citizens were taken from us.”

The aim of this attack was to drive two bomb loaded trucks into the basement of a building to bring down both of the towers of the World Trade Center. The mission was not accomplished, but the attack did kill six people. The organizer of this attack was Ramzi Yousef, whose uncle went on to be the operational commander of the attack at the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Assassinations due to political, religious, and cultural reasons occur either without logical or ridiculous reasoning. Some assassinations are justified and some are not entirely even close to being called justice. One illogical assassination was of famous Tejano music singer “Selena Quintanilla Perez”. Being shot straight in the back with no warning, this case was justified with various reasons. Although the case was justified some may argue that the assassination was in deed never settled.
