To whom this may concern. One of the five Pillars needed to be accepted into the National Junior Honor Society that best describes me, Molly Cormier is Leadership. Leadership is more than just guiding your friends and peers. Leadership means connecting and teaching others the different options they have, the skills they can learn, the smart decisions they can make, and the directions they can take those decisions to make a difference. I show these leadership qualities in my every day life.

I have been informed that I was not selected to be a member of the National Honor Society. I would like to respectfully disagree with this decision. Being in the National Honor Society means a lot to me, and I would first like to thank you for considering me as an applicant and for also taking this time to listen to my defense. The main problem with my application was a lack of community service.

Joining the National Junior Honor Society is an opportunity I am excited to take part in. I think this experience would be a great addition to my life and could help me become the best version of myself in many ways. I would be an asset to the NJHS community because I show the traits and have met the criteria listed in the application packet. For my academic achievements, all of my elementary school years, I participated in the Gifted and Talented program.

Furthermore, I would be around people that share my desire to progress academically, and thus would drive me to maintain my academic rigor and continue to grow and learn as a student. Participating in a community service activity has always been something I wanted to do, and the National Honor Society would give me more opportunities to help my community and make it a better place. I am interested in joining the National Honor Society because it symbolizes all of the principles that I hold dear in my life. Essay of Intent I deserve to be part of the National Junior Honor Society for many reasons. To begin with I deserve to be in National Junior Honor Society because of my skills as a leader. Additionally, I have a very strong character, and able to work well in a team. Finally, I am willing to give back to the people in need and honoring my country. It is a great honor to be nominated as a member of the National Honor Society. There are many reasons why I want to take part in NHS. One reason why I want to be in it is to continue to grow academically with people who have the same goals as me. I want to be encouraged, not discouraged by the people around me. If I get into NHS, it will give me a lot of opportunities to be a leader.

I will make sure to do my part by leading by example, serving my community and school, staying true to myself, and performing in school to the best of my ability. To improve upon skills such as determination, persistence and kindness? If so, then everyday I make an effort to improve my character. Nevaeh Hancock National Honors Society April 18, 23 National Honors Society As a high school freshman watching my brother walk across alongside students representing the National Honors Society encouraged me. Witnessing seniors walk across the stage with pride on their faces from representing the National Honors Society on their graduation humbled me to be a part of the National Honors Society community. I feel like I inquired about all the qualities that are mandatory and more that qualify my entrance into the National Honor Society.

I am ready to board the ship, and set sail – pointing towards a bright future of being an ECU pirate. Being admitted into the Honors College at ECU would be the catalyst to a successful future. As a high school senior, I am considering many universities and believe that being apart of the ECU community would allow me to reach my full potential. Growing up I have always set high standards for myself academically and extracurricularly. I participate in many clubs at my school including BETA club and National Honor Society.

National Honor society was established to recognize outstanding high school students. National Honor society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of academic success, leadership, character and service. I should be in National Honor Society because I think I represent a lot of the qualities needed to be in this organization. Throughout my years in high school, I have been very involved in the band program here at Langham Creek. As a freshman, I started out in Concert 2 band.
