My Hero: Zachary Bradford

The American Revolution is almost like the civil war, but it happened in the late 1700s. It is split into three parts - patriots, loyalists, and neutralists - instead of two. The movie, The Patriot, is a fictional movie that shows us a couple of the battles and the life of colonials, focusing on Benjamin Martin, in South Carolina during the American Revolution. You would wonder why people really want to go for a war when they already know what the outcome is going to be. Some people were forced to fight because of the death of their family members, caused by the opponent, whereas others did not fight because they did not want to risk their families even though both of the kind of people were patriots.

In my opinion, Dorothea Dix fits my definition of a hero because she not only did something to improve the life of one person, she improved the lives of thousands, without worrying about the consequences of her actions. What is a hero? A hero is a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities. There are many people who meet the characteristics of a hero, but Chris McCandless is not one of them. There are many reasons that prove why McCandless does not meet the characteristics of a hero and there is many other people who do meet the criteria of a hero. My idea of a hero is a someone who takes on large tasks and shows great bravery in his/her character.

To me, a hero is someone who is admirable and does good things but isn't perfect. Ruby Bridges is a hero because she helped desegregate schools so all skin colors can go to any school and receive the same education as white people instead of only getting taught certain things. She managed to do it even when she had almost nobody supporting her and even with multiple people saying bad words and traumatizing her she still managed to carry out her idea and desegregate

Heros’ come in many shapes and forms. Tall, short, small, big, anyone can be a hero, they just have to put in the effort. Though anyone can be a good hero, a great hero is somebody who inspires others, makes a difference, and is selfless. First and foremost, a great hero must be someone who inspires others. Ida B. Wells is an example of a true hero.

Did you know that Ulysses S. Grants real birth name was Hiram Ulysses Grant. His name was changed when he was enrolled in the West Point Academy. Grant was too shy to speak out and went by Ulysses S. Grant and was known famously by the name Ulysses S. Grant. Ulysses S. Grant was an important leader and he left a legacy because he proved that he can make it, he also led the Union in the American Civil War becoming a hero. He also became the 18th President of the United States.

Think about when someone helped you in life and they always have a plan B if things so south, and they find ways to solve problems. A hero can also be someone who helps others with homework, helps someone carry things, or even help someone cook. A modern day hero is someone who helps our society, and helps other people when they need help. Or you could be a like Bella Abzug is an perfect example amazing because she helped the world. Bella Abzug is a hero to women by helping them with the rights we have today, she has overcome many obstacles, and she has made a difference in the world.

What are hero? Hero's are people that take risks. They make a difference in the world. People become a hero by helping people out. To become a hero you can save life.

Hero’s are great and powerful people. A Hero is someone who is willing to risk their life to help someone even though they don’t have to. Ponyboy is an example of a hero. Johnny is also a great example of a Hero. Bob though, is the complete opposite of a Hero.

A hero is anyone who makes the right decision to sacrifice for a person in need. For example, without heroes like firemen, wildfires and house fires would spread across the nation, costing lives and loss of worldly possessions. Firemen stand strong, risk themselves, and protect all for the well-being, safety of others, and personal property. In addition,

My hero is Kobe Bryant who committed to helping many of the world's problems such as when he donated money to the Make A Wish Foundation in order to help sick kids with harmful diseases or when he made an impact on the After-school All-Star program. Kobe Bryant was a hero because he helped sick kids in need by granting 250 wishes to the Make A Wish Foundation and made an effort contributing to the After-School All-star program which provided new opportunities for more than 90,000 kids. A hero does not fight for fame and glory but for the greater good. A hero is someone who goes through adversity to help others in desperate times. A hero fights evil, and defends people. Beowulf should be considered a hero because he is a strong, brave warrior who defended his people and slayed evil monsters. Beowulf proves himself to be a strong, brave warrior by killing Grendel the monster.

Either it be physically or emotionally. The hero in your life may be someone who you love and trust and know will always be there for you in a time of need. A hero supports you, and assures you safety. The American heroes, or our soldiers, are great examples. They fight for not only our freedom, but for freedom and protection for their loved ones.

My Hero Is there someone that you look up to? Many people do and they have a different view on who they believe a hero is. To me a hero is a person who can make the right decisions, has the courage to take down his enemies and is strong. My hero is Spiderman, because he has all of the qualities of being a hero. Spiderman has his physical strength and emotional strength and his intelligence as well as his courage.
