Milton Hershey: Perseverance Throughout Life

“Hershey’s wouldn't melt in a pack and can keep a person going for a day. Hershey’s chocolate bar was an amazing invention in 1900. The Hershey company is still upgrading the Hershey bar. People are still eating this amazing chocolate bar.” Since this bar has been upgraded over the years it became more famous and loved while becoming one of Milton's biggest accomplishments.

The school was founded with Hershey's money from his successful chocolate business. Unfortunately, he died in 1945 but he left his money to keep the school up and running! Today, that money would be worth $5 billion! Each year more than 1,300 kids go to the Milton Hershey school for education, career training, housing, clothing, meals, and health care. All of which are free.

DETERMINED A lot of things drive people to undertake a mission such as hard work not giving up an effort It's not just that though it takes determination and courage and the will to undertake that mission. Where the Red Fern Grows is an excellent example because Billy wants dogs so bad that is the mission he undertakes. Not only does he do it but he does it with bravery and courage. Milton Hershey was a great man. He did a lot for the world. What would we do without him. Imagine if he did not love candy more than anything in the world we would probably not have Hershey bars, kisses, you name it. Milton Hershey did not only do sweets.

Hershey set out to build not just a chocolate factory, but the ideal town where the work force could live, play, work and prosper. I totally agree to this statement because one should be patient enough, firm and hard working to achieve success in life. Sometimes before achieving success, we do experience failure and this failure reminds us to be more hardworking as said by Harvey Mackay “I’ve known entrepreneurs who were not great salespeople, or didn't know how to code, or were not particularly charismatic leaders.
