Introduction Massachusetts General Hospital is ranked as second in the United States in 2013 by U.S. News & World Report (2013). This hospital is a 999-bed facility in the center of Boston and is known for providing sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic maintenance in almost every speciality of medicine and surgery. Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) provides healthcare at local, national and global levels (About MGH, nd, World-class patient care). Sanctioning families at the risk of obesity and hunger with knowledge, skills and confidence to generate healthy meals is included in the goals of MGH (MGH, nd, CCHI, cooking up confidence). The youth programs of MGH were aimed to impart health and science to the children and college students of Boston, Chelsea and Revere (MGH, nd, MGH Youth Programs).
