Major Accomplishments

A man who stood about 6 feet tall with teeth made of wood and hippopotamus ivory does not even begin to describe the extraordinary man who is George Washington. George Washington, the father of the United States, was the first President of the USA and served as president from 1789 to 1797. He is aptly called the father of his nation due to his key role in the formation of the United States. Many look up to George Washington due to his various accomplishments throughout his life. Winning the Revolutionary War, becoming the first President of the United States, and shaping the way the Constitution was written and how the federal government was formed are all extraordinary accomplishments for any man, especially one who did not go to college.

Favre was a quarterback who played for the New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, Minnesota Vikings, and the Green Bay Packers, where he is probably known the most.

Growing up, we were all taught not to play with fire because, “It’s dangerous and it will burn you,” our parents said. But no one learns by simply listening; at some point we all touched the stove or campfire, got burned, and effectively never did that again. America is playing with fire now as Rex Tillerson follows President Trump down a path of destruction and bridge burning. The President is setting things ablaze all over the world and the secretary of state must be qualified to quench those flames without getting burned, but can Tillerson do it? Rex Tillerson is nowhere near qualified to be Americas’ secretary of state at this time because he has no political experience, no voice, and is not independent from the President.

John D. Rockefeller was the founder of the Standard Oil Company and became one of the wealthiest men of his time. His company was the major leader of the oil business in the United States during his reign. Standard Oil company served as a prime example of how companies should function, which helped to guide others to follow in his footsteps. He was a major philanthropist and used his large fortune to fund many philanthropic causes. His donations helped pay for the creations of the University of Chicago, the Rockefeller University, the establishment of Central Philippine University, and many others.

Jesse James was a very horrible man that a lot of people looked up to for some reason. He was into a lot of criminal activity that got him into some trouble. Not with just the law but with other people as well, so he always had to keep a lookout for people that looked suspicious. But one day he didn't keep a good enough eye out and it got him in trouble. So here are the events that lead up to Jesse James criminal career and eventually his death.

On April 28th, 1758 in Westmoreland County, the fifth president of the United States, James Monroe, was born. Monroe had a mother and a father, Spence and Elizabeth Monroe. Spence was an affluent planter who also practiced carpentry as a hobby. Both of his parents married in 1752 and they had several children. His parents died when he was a teenager, leaving him part of the family farm.

They have worked hard, exceptionally hard, for me not to pursuit my dreams of joining the Peace Corps. This is a I considered filling out an application to join the Peace Corps straight after college but glad I waited. I have gained experience, but more importantly, I have matured mentally and emotionally and I am capable of understanding what it would require of me to leave my family, home, and career for two years and I am ready.

James Monroe attended William and Mary University but dropped out 2 months later. He was an officer in the Continental Army in 1776 and fought under General George Washington’s army. He helped fight at the Battle of Trenton, but was badly injured. This event is important because James Monroe and others fought for their independence at that battle. He served as a senator, congressman and United States secretary of state before becoming the fifth president of the United States.

Charlie Brown is an example of how anybody can live their life the way they want, no matter the way they were born. For the first half of his life, Charlie was a slave. After he was finally freed he met the love of his life at the plantation where she worked. He created a business in our own Brazoria County and bought the plantation where his wife, Isabella, worked as a slave. This was a time when African Americans were targeted for hate crimes and violence.

Focusing on your own goals can lead to greater success by helping you craft your own goal to prosperity. Being an individual player can help make you a better player overall mentally and physically. Babe Ruth was born on February 6, 1895, and was an American baseball player whose career in Major League Baseball lasted around 22 seasons, from 1914 through 1935. He worked on his own personal work and world records. During Babe’s early life his parents worked long hours which resulted in him skipping school or causing trouble in his neighborhood.

Tim Tebow kept everyone wondering how far he could really really go. Tim Tebow has had a very successful life so far. He won many awards in college football. He also made it to the National football league. He was without a doubt an amazing football player,but another thing about him that makes him great is that he is a very religious man and he helps many cherities.

As she grew older she received over 10 awards for her great accomplishments When Rosa parks had chronic tonsils all through her childhood.
