There are two sides to every story to many Australians Kokoda was recognized as the efforts of the Australian soldiers being critical to the defense of Australia against the threat of the Imprial Japanese Army. Such famous historic figures such as paul Keating and John Howard retelling the Kokoda story with the exaggeration of the Anzac’s defending Asutralia. But to some Australian’s such as the former senior historian at the Australia war memorial, DR Peter Stanley, has stated that the Japanese were not planning to make themselves masters of Australia in 1942 and that any Japanese threat to Australia in 1942 was greatly exaggerated by wartime prime minister John Curtin for his own political ends. I t is also known that Hideki Tojo the prime minster of Japan in 1942 stated, as being unfeasible to invade given Australia 's geography and the strength of the Allied defenses. Invading Australia was never an option for the Japanese Imperial Army.

“I know that I am a destroyer of the most precious thing, which is life”. This quote was from Patricia Krenwinkel. Patricia Krenwinkel had an important role in the Manson trials because she stabbed Abigail Folger countless of times and then later on she stabbed Rosemary LaBianca with a carving fork to death. She was found guilty of murder and they gave her the death sentenced, but the judge overruled it so she got life in prison. It has been 46 years since the murder of the Manson family.
Koro and Gururumba are two of many different kinds of cultural syndromes. Koro is primary related to Asian culture, while Gururumba is related to New Guinea. Cultural syndromes are a combination of psychiatric and somatic symptoms that are only found within certain cultures. The fact that these syndromes are culture and society bound and are not wide spread across the globe, they are not recognized by the majority of the world, although the DSM has better recognized some cultural syndromes for aiding in a diagnosis. This makes these cultural syndromes very unique.

Throughout Jonathan Kozol’s essay “Still Separate, Still Unequal: America’s Educational Apartheid” (347) and “Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?” (374) by Beverly Tatum, both Kozol and Tatum discuss racial issues in the educational system. Kozol and Tatum explain racial issues by presenting two different instances that racial issues have played a roles. These two instances being visiting different public schools by Kozol and noticing the cafeteria segregation by Tatum. Using their own personal experiences, their arguments essentially come to similar conclusions, so by comparing their essays, the most significant problems are brought to the table.
To begin with, this paper will look at a quick overview of Kuklinski then exploring more into his early childhood, life with the mob and finally how he was brought to justice. Kuklinski alleges to have murdered over one hundred people before being caught in 1986 (A&E Television Networks, 2017). Kuklinski worked for the mob as a contract killer and enforcer but this did not mean he would not kill people for other reasons. Kuklinski was given the name “The Iceman” because of his technique of freezing the victims to complicate the time of their deaths (A&E Television Networks, 2017). Kuklinski was eventually incarcerated in 1988 and later on died in prison at the age of 70 in 2006.
Jack Ma once said, “The world needs new leadership, but the new leadership is about working together.” This could not be more true at Boston University through its Kilachand Honors College. “Our sense of self is influenced by our interactions with our environment” The interactions a person encounters are an essential part in the formation of identity. In Peter Skrzynecki’s poem, Feliks Skrzynecki, a linguistic barrier between the father and son is present due to persona, Peter’s lack of cultural identity. The poem examines the relationship with his father explores how he has a constantly changing identity as he encounters his surroundings. Similarly, in Postcard, the persona’s identity is altered through the interactions he has with the environment around him.
Kotler and Keller (2006) define a brand as adding dimensions to product or service that could differentiate it in some ways from other products or services designed to satisfy the same need. These differences may be functional, rational, or tangible-related to product performance of the brand. They may also be more symbolic, emotional or intangible-related to what the brand represents. Brand is also something that resides in the minds of customers.
